Honda CBR description

This bike is in great mechanical condition. Within the last riding season this bike has had 20k mile service by Honda Marysville Motorsport (all fluids, brake pads, oil and filter change). Both front and rear tires were replaced last season with still plenty of tread life left. This season had the battery replaced, the rectifier, and had Iron Pony replace the stator (6/7/16) and check all other components of the charging system.
Bike has minor scratches in the fairings. The bike is kept indoors in the winter and covered in the summer.

Clear Title in hand. The current mileage is 24,514. This will increase as I ride to work every now and again.

Extras: Power Commander 1 with disc, carbon fiber yoshi exhaust, Gel driver seat, also have the gel passenger seat, adjustable levers, black frame sliders, rear wheel pegs for wheel stand, flushmount front turn-signals, integrated rear turn-signal and brake light, fender eliminator kit, carbon fiber tank slider, tank grips, carbon fiber gas cap protector

I have included a picture of the other components I have for the bike: service manual, original levers, extra brake rotor, original rear fender with turn signals, original front turn signals, computer disk for the power commander, also new grips still in the package.

Bike is around the Dublin, OH area.

Cal Crutchlow has signed on to race for the LCR Honda team for the 2015 MotoGP season. To make the jump, Crutchlow secured an early termination to his contract with Ducati. The switch comes as a bit of a surprise after Crutchlow had confirmed he would honor the final year of his contract at World Ducati Week.

2023 Honda EM1 E: Electric Scooter First Look

Tue, 08 Nov 2022

Stylish with a removable battery, but only for Europe Honda is one of several manufacturers showing off shiny e-scooters slated for 2023 release, and the 2023 Honda EM1 e: looks pretty nice. Destined for Europe (at least initially, we hope), the EM1 e: is one of the 10 motorcycle models that the manufacturer has pledged to release by 2025, with the company’s other stated goal of being carbon neutral by 2050 hanging in the balance. The e-scooter’s name is derived from Electric Moped, and it is aimed at younger potential riders looking for stylish, fun urban transportation (which explains the Euro release).

Are Motorcycles Safer With Antilock Brakes?

Tue, 30 Dec 2008

A new report says riders with ABS-equipped bikes can dramatically reduce the chance of a fatal accident. The study compared fatality rates among riders on bikes that have antilock brakes, and it found that death rates were 38% lower on motorcycles equipped with the optional ABS systems compared to non-ABS bikes. In 2005-2006, the fatal crashes per 10,000 registered motorcycles without antilock brakes was 6.6.
