You are looking at a 2005 Honda CBR 600RR motorcycle. This bike was seized by the Plainview Police Department in 2015. It has been stored inside since its seizure. The bike started right up when I put a jump pack on it. It seemed to sound good. Once I unhooked the battery box, it quit so it for sure needs a battery. The bike looks to be in decent shape but is missing some plastic on one side as you can see. Its not a perfect bike but seems like its very useable with lots of hours of fun just waiting for you. It is showing 19105 miles on the odometer. We don't know any history on this bike. The winner bidder will make payment directly to the Plainview Police Department and pickup from their facility. I work there so it will be a very easy transaction. I have been selling police seizures for 6 years. This bike is being sold in accordance with MN State Statutes in regarding disposal of property. NHTSA Launches Recall Look-up by VIN Tool

The U.S. Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration have launched a new free online tool that should make it easier for consumers to inspect their vehicles’ safety recall histories. The new search tool, available at http://www.safercar.gov/vinlookup, allows people to look for recall campaigns by entering Vehicle Identification Numbers.

With the two test riders coming forward to act as replacement riders for the injured Rossi and Aoyama, it brought back memories of the days when the grid would be gifted with wildcard riders from the respective countries. The Japanese rounds were always attended by some of the top guys with experience of the 500GP and MotoGP bikes, through racing them in their domestic championships. What resulted was getting to witness the exciting and talented Japanese riders, and bring new riders to the attention of the teams.
