I'm selling my "sickest" toy, which is this CBR954RR rocket with wheels. I hate to part with it, but honestly it's too fast for me. It's not a bike to be taken lightly. Topping out at 185 MPH, I let the throttle go because that was enough for me. It is a street-legal motorcycle with a 4-cylinder 954cc engine that seems like a V-12. This bike is seriously fast.
The bike is stretched for comfort and safety, so the front end won't pop up on me as easily. It has an adjustable extended swingarm. All you would need is a different size chain if you decide to adjust it. It has performance aftermarket front brake rotors. Make sure to use both the foot brake and the hand brake to avoid doing a nose stand. :) Despite the insane performance, this bike has convenient features. It seats two comfortably with swing-out passenger pegs and an extra set of pegs farther up so you can stretch your legs while riding. Electric start, digital speedo, trip odometer, clock, digital temperature readout, low fuel indicator, neutral and kickstand indicators. Most of all, it has a big, in-your-face, easy-to-read analog tachometer. Fuel capacity is around 4.8 gallons for long rides. I'm including the helmet and a pair of safety glasses. 2013 AMA Supercross Atlanta Race Report
Mon, 25 Feb 2013James Stewart captured his first AMA Supercross win in nearly a year, leading every lap in front of 68,987 fans at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta in his most consistent main event showing so far this season. The Yoshimura Suzuki racer was dominant in Atlanta, posting the fastest qualifying times and taking the holeshot to lead his eight-lap heat race before doing it again in the 20-lap main event. Stewart’s previous win was March 10, 2012, at Daytona International Speedway.
2014 Pata Honda WSBK and WSS Team Presentation
Mon, 27 Jan 2014Honda presented its 2014 World Superbike and Supersport team, including the new CBR1000RR SP racebike in a presentation at the Motor Bike Expo in Verona, Italy. Jonathan Rea and Leon Haslam are returning in the Pata Honda team colors to ride the CBR1000RR SP in the WSBK class while Michael van der Mark and Lorenzo Zanetti will ride the CBR600RR in the WSS championship. Last season was disappointing for Honda, with both Rea and Haslam missing significant time due to leg injuries.
Repsol Extends Honda MotoGP Sponsorship to 2017
