2001 Honda CBR 929rr Erion Racing edition - Less than 2000 miles. This bike was owned by a motorcycle collector. The bike was purchased brand-new in 2001 and stored professionally in a climate controlled Stuart facility for 15 years. Into thousand and eight the bike was upgraded with a ton of racing parts. The collector had intended on starting an online motorcycle parts store. This bike was used as the show bike to do all the product photography. It was only ridden on a limited basis. This bike is completely flawless. It is in brand-new showroom condition. No scratches or blemishes anywhere on the bike. This is a motorcycle for a serious sport bike enthusiast.
The bike comes with a box of original stock parts and a file folder with receipts for the majority of the parts purchased. The cost for the upgrades totals over $7000. Tue, 07 Jan 2014Joan Barreda won his second special stage this year and now boasts a lead of more than 13 minutes over Cyril Despres and Marc Coma, the two other beneficiaries of a particularly decisive stage. Today’s stage, part one of the first marathon stage with no team service, was characterized by the highest ever racing altitude in Dakar history. Facing the 22,841 foot summit of the Aconcagua, South America´s highest mountain, the motorcycle riders had to cross a pass over 14,107 feet in elevation in trial-like conditions.
Nicky Hayden Makes Aspar Team Debut Testing Honda RCV1000R
Tue, 12 Nov 2013American racer Nicky Hayden made his first appearance with the Aspar Team, testing the Honda RCV1000R production racer at the official MotoGP post-season test at Spain’s Valencia circuit. Hayden completed 76 laps on the RCV1000R, posting a top lap time of 1:32.576, putting him 13th on the time sheet. The test time was 0.188 seconds faster than his top lap time in Sunday’s race at Valencia on the Ducati Desmosedici.
