Honda CBR description

I have had this motorcycle for many years and have only used it for riding through the mountains of Arizona where I live. It has been regularly maintained and has less than 200 miles on the set of Dunlop sportmax tires that are on it . Its still in perfect mechanical shape.  hoping to sell to someone who will take care of the bike.  If you need more pictures please let me know. great condition. never been laid over. and always driven at the speed limits.  the first picture has the old tires on it before I changed them out.

bike was in storage. from 2007 till recently. but has had a complete tune up. plugs, carbs, KN air filter, oil change.

the oil that has been run is Mobil 1 synthetic MC. oil was changed less than 100 miles ago. has new KN washable filter that was added at last oil change. spark plugs are brand new ,and fuel system has been thoroughly cleaned.

their is absolutely no rust in tank. bike is in Great condition. and runs strong.  No engine problems at all.

Runs the same way the day I purchased it. this was the last year of the 900RR.

Honda announced a hardcore version of the Africa Twin

Thu, 09 Mar 2017

At the Motodays show in Rome, Honda announced a hardcore version of the Africa Twin, featuring Dakar styling, technical innovations and a price tag that surpasses the exterior of the motorcycle in severity. The Italian division of Honda has comprehensively modified the CRF1000L, giving it the dashing style of an experimental vehicle along the way. There is a pretty good attempt to endow the motorcycle with the features of a Dakar monster.

Rumored 2013 Honda CBR500, CB500 Captured in Spy Photos

Wed, 12 Sep 2012

Spy photos have emerged out of Thailand depicting two new Honda motorcycles reputed to be a new CBR500 and a second, naked version, possibly to be named a CB500. The photos were posted on the CBR250.net forum by someone claiming to have inside knowledge of the new 500cc Honda models which would be produced in Thailand where the CBR250R is currently manufactured. The faired version is equipped with dual headlights like the Honda CBR600RR instead of the VFR1200-derived Y-shaped light used on the CBR250R and its smaller siblings the CBR125R and CBR150 offered in some markets.

Day 2 Dakar 2014: Sunderland Wins First Special Stage

Mon, 06 Jan 2014

Honda won the second day of competition with Team HRC’s Sam Sunderland claiming victory in the first special stage of this year’s Dakar. Sunderland has had a frustrating time at previous Dakars, dropping out after three days of racing in 2012 and withdrawing a month before last year’s event due to fracturing both his wrists. Today, however, Sunderland made a grand entrance into the club of elite riders by brilliantly winning his first special stage of this year’s Dakar. Having started well behind his teammate, Joan Barreda, the 23-year old Brit superbly overtook Michael Metge and Juan Pedrero on the first part of the route.
