Honda CBR description

1996 Honda Cbr 1000, I have a 1996 CBR1000F for sale. It has 58k miles on it. Runs and drives great. CLEAR Texas title. I have installed a new regulator, new chain and sprockets, and had the seat re-upholstered. The tires and battery are both fairly new. It was dropped out some point on the right side, only minor damage to replaceable plastic pieces. I removed some bad aftermarket mufflers and re-installed original style mufflers that I found on ebay. The tank has 1 small dent on the right side. Other than that, it's in pretty decent shape for its age. I would have liked to keep it and ride, but with a new baby that's not going to happen anytime soon. These bikes are extremely smooth, very reliable, and great for long distance riding. $2,900.00 7154563542

60's styled electric concept bike

Mon, 19 Mar 2012

This electric concept bike takes the styling of an Ossa Grand Prix ridden in late 1960s by Santiago Herrero and brings it into the 21st century. From Barcelona design studio ART-TIC the Monocasco takes its styling cues from Ossa's monocoque racing bike that was introduced at the end of the 1960s. Spain's first motorcycle Grand Prix hero, Herrero took the bike to four victories before his fatal crash in the 1970 Isle of Man TT.

Misano Moto GP. Was it Divine Intervention?

Thu, 20 Sep 2012

I’m still buzzing from an amazing weekend of Moto GP in Misano. It took until Saturday lunchtime for the sun to get his hat on but from there on in the atmosphere at both the circuit and the nearby beachfront was first class. As usual on race day we had epic Moto 3 and Moto 2 races with respective champions elect Cortese and Marquez once again taking victories by just fractions of a second.

Capirossi Announces Retirement at Conclusion of 2011 Season

Thu, 01 Sep 2011

Loris Capirossi announced he will retire at the end of the 2011 MotoGP season, closing off a quarter century of racing including 22 years at the Grand Prix level and three World Championships. “It’s an important moment in my career, and the decision I made has come about after a lot of reflection,” says Capriossi. “I’m happy that after 25 years, of which 22 were in the world championship, I’m at a point where I can still have a smile on my lips as I part ways, even if it’s difficult to think that I won’t be riding a bike next year.” The announcement was made during a press conference at Misano for the upcoming San Marino Grand Prix, the final Italian stop of the 2011 season.
