I purchased this bike two months ago with the hope of restoring it and riding it. I have brought it back to life but now it's time for someone else to enjoy. This bike sat since1997 most of that time in a garage. The good: bike runs perfect, fires right up every time, all the electronics work perfectly, new oil and filter, new plugs, new battery, carbs were completely gone through, tank was cleaned out, brake fluids changed and bled, clutch fluid changed and bled, cooling system flushed. The seat is in very good condition as I purchased it from another bike being parted out, the controls are in very good condition, the paint on the tank is near perfect with one small chip near the filler, the tires have plenty of tread remaining but should probably be changed given their age. The bad: the main side panels show the bike has been dropped and the paint is cracking, many scratches and some cracks, a few missing tabs, the bike clearly sat outside for some time as the clear coat is peeling off the side, front and rear panels and the windscreen is yellowed, the mufflers have some scratches. I have put 250 miles on this bike since bringing it back to life, many of those in 95 degree weather and no problems. The bike is out of the CA DMV system so there are no back fees due. PJ Jacobsen to Make World Supersport Debut at Assen
Wed, 11 Apr 2012New York native P.J. Jacobsen has been called up to replace injured racer Pawel Szkopek to race at the Assen round of the 2012 World Supersport Championship for the Bogdanka PTR Honda team. Jacobsen, 18, was originally announced as part of PTR’s six-member WSS team in December but funding issues saw him dropped in favor of Jules Cluzel before the season started in March.

Sun, 22 May 2022Here at modern MO, we probably wouldn’t publish a road test of a new Honda without a few photos of the thing in action. Twenty years ago, though, there was probably a perfectly reasonable-sounding excuse: My dog ate the film, a bear ate the photographer… Most probably, somebody slud the shiny new Honda 919 down the road on the way to the shoot, and the show had to go on. Who knows?

Sat, 26 Jan 2013SAM Christmas has been a professional photographer for the last 3 years and is the man behind Natural Habitats, a collection of photos covering the growing UK custom scene, showing bikes and their builders at home. Sam's clients include the likes of Honda, Dainese, Google, Polo Jeans and Edwin denim but Natural Habitats is a personal project that took one and a half years to complete. I got to meet Sam when the exhibition opened in Shoreditch on Thursday evening.
