Honda CB description
This is was a very tough decision, but I have decided to part with my 1963 Honda Superhawk. I have owned this bike since 1994.
As a young man I spent every paycheque professionally restoring this bike. Mechanical restoration was completed at an established Honda dealership. All parts sourced at that time were NOS original from Honda which we had to order through micro-fiche. Paint was done by a renown hotrod shop with powder coated frame. Chrome was played, engine rebuilt and polished, new wiring harness. No expense was spared. This bike was a complete restoration using factory new parts. Close to $10,000 invested in 1995, and have all receipts for the work done. Less then 100 miles on engine since rebuild, this bike was restored, then on static display in an office since then and still in near mint condition. Kicked over regularly of course. This bike is quite an early model and has the rare aluminium front fender, high rise factory handle bars. A lovely cruiser and show bike! I have put a new battery in, and the bike is running and driving once again this year. I don't drive if much of course since it's probably one of the last bikes restored with NOS 1960's parts. The carb could use some cleaning, but is drive able as it is. Way too much to list in terms of restoration... Essentially everything was new NOS or restored. Engine was polished on the sides. A rare piece, museum worthy. I won first place at a large show locally in 1996. Trophy is in pictures. Featured in two newspaper articles as well. A part of my past, but willing to let her go to s new caring home. I will sell to anyone worldwide, but shipping is buyers expense and responsibility |

Did you get your bike serviced at George White Slough?
Thu, 18 Aug 2011Unfortunately, The George White branch at Slough has closed which means the sales, clothing and servicing departments are all gone. I got to know a few of the guys there as they're local to me and helped put my 848 Challenge bike together. If you used to get your bike serviced there, you might wonder where you can now go to get it done.
14-Year-Old Canadian Stacey Nesbitt First Woman to Win a National Road Racing Title
Mon, 22 Aug 2011Quebec teenager Stacey Nesbitt has won the Canadian Superbike Championship’s 2011 Honda CBR125R Challenge title. We’re still checking, but organizers are already calling Nesbitt the first woman to win a national road racing championship (excluding women-only categories). The 14-year-old from St-Lazare, Quebec, swept both Honda CBR125R Challenge races in the season finale at Mosport International Raceway in Bowmanville, Ontario, to win the title with 421 points, 52 points ahead of runner-up Austin Shaw-O’Leary.
