I DISCOVERED IN MY RESEARCH THAT THE ENGINE# WAS TIED TO A FRAME THAT HAD BACK FEES ASSOCIATED WITH IT.,WHICH IS NOT THE FRAME IT CURRENTLY SITS IN..THESE FEES DO NOT APPLY TO THE MOTOR..  .I AM ASSURED BY THE DMV SERVICE I USE WHO HAVE 30 YEARS OF EXSPERIENCE WITH REGISTRATION WORK HERE IN CA.THAT WHEN YOU BRING THIS TO HIGHWAY PATROL AND THEY ASSIGN A FRAME# TO IT FOR CALIFORNIA,YOU WILL BE GOOD TO GO..AND NO FEES APPLY....        IF IT IS BOUGHT BY SOMEONE OUT OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA OR OUT OF THE COUNTRY ,NONE OF THIS WILL MATTER OR APPLY. .ALSO IF SOLD TO ANYONE WHO RESIDES WITHIN CA.,IT WILL ALSO BE SUBJECT TO CA  SALES TAX  WHICH = $102......OUT OF STATE/COUNTRY SALES,NO TAX APPLYS...CHECK THE LAWS OF YOUR STATE TO SEE WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR REGISTRATION/TITLE THERE...SORRY FOR ANY CONFUSION CREATED BY THE TITLE SAYING CLEAR,BUT EBAY GIVES YOU NO OTHER VIABLE OPTION......Nice project Honda..Any questions, please call 707-292-3033

SO A UPS OR USPS ESTIMATE OFFERED BY EBAY WILL NOT BE CORRECT SO DON'T BASE WHAT YOUR GOING TO PAY ON WHAT THEY TELL YOU...ONLY ON WHAT I TELL YOU IT WILL BE AFTER RECEIVING YOUR INFO..I WILL NOT SHIP FOR WHATEVER IT IS THEY TELL YOU..CAN CRATE FOR $200,AND ARRANGE SHIPPING AND PROVIDE CUSTOMS SVCS THROUGH MY BROKER ..THIS IS ABOVE AND BEYOND THE COST OF THE BIKE ITSELF..FOR OVERSEAS BIDDERS,OR YOUR WELCOME TO EITHER COME AND GET IT OR ARRANGE YOUR OWN SHIPPING/CRATING.PLEASE ASK AS MANY QUESTIONS AS YOU NEED TO..AS THIS IS AN AS IS WHERE IS SALE AND THERE ARE NO REFUNDS..ONCE YOU RECEIVE IT,YOU OWN IT...PLEASE ALSO BE AWARE THAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT AN IN-COMPLETE 41YR OLD PROJECT BIKE THAT NEEDS PARTS,MACHINE WORK AND ASSEMBLY..WHICH DOES NOT RUN...NOT SOMETHING BRAND NEW..I TRY MY BEST TO DESCRIBE EVERYTHING AS ACCURATELY AS I CAN BUT ALSO BE AWARE I AM HUMAN AND THEREFORE,MAY OVERLOOK SOMETHINGS OR FEEL THERE ARE SOMETHINGS TOO INSIGNIFICANT TO MENTION..THEREFORE UPON RECEIVING THIS PROJECT BIKE IF YOU FEEL YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ANY PART OF IT,YOU MUST CONTACT ME FIRST BEFORE POSTING ANY FEEDBACK...NO EXCEPTIONS...I WILL DO MY LEVEL BEST TO TAKE CARE OF ANY PROBLEMS OR CONCERNS YOU MAY FEEL YOU HAVE..ANY QUESTIONS,PLEASE ASK THEM NOW..NOT AFTER YOU BID.THIS IS AN AS IS,WHERE IS SALE AND THERE ARE NO RETURNS.SO IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS..NOW IS THE TIME TO ASK THEM....ASKING QUESTIONS AFTER THE FACT OR TRYING TO RE-NEGOTIATE AFTER THE SALE HAS BEEN MADE WIL NOT BE TOLERATED..AND FINALLY...IF YOU FEEL YOU CANNOT UNDERSTAND OR ABIKE THE TERMS I HAVE SET FORTH WITHIN THIS AUCTION PLEASE...DO  NOT BID...THANKS FOR LOOKING..

EICMA 2013: 2014 Honda CBR300R Revealed at EICMA

Mon, 04 Nov 2013

The new Honda CBR300R already made its world premiere earlier this month at the 2013 CIMAMotor show in China, but the entry-level sportbike has now made its European debut at the 2013 EICMA show, with full details and specs released. Follow the rest of our 2013 EICMA show coverage Replacing the CBR250R in most western markets, the new CBR300R offers an extra 37cc in displacement and styling inspired from the CBR1000RR. As we previously reported, the 286cc engine was achieved by increasing the stroke of the 250′s engine by 8 mm to 63mm and keeping the bore at 76mm.

Old boys up front and where are the new 600 Gixers?

Mon, 28 Feb 2011

As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship  opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment.    I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.
