Honda CB description

This 1970 CB750 K0 has had a frame up restoration, The frame & all black parts has been powder coated. All chrome parts have been replaced with new or re-plated. The Engine, wiring & carburetion was done professionally by a mechanic with 35 years experience with 750's. The paint was professionally done and is better than perfect. Seat is new but of the K1 type. Both wheels were respoked & rims replaced with new ones & hubs polished. The tires are reproductions of the original style vintage tires. Battery is new sealed Yuasa brand.Handlebars are new & all switches are new along with new cables. New wiring harness & ignition switch. Carburetors were boiled out with new carburetor kits installed. Instruments are restored by a company in the Netherlands & are pretty. Engine was completely taken apart with cases split & everything checked out, Cylinders were honed & new rings installed & head rebuilt, runs absolutely perfect! Has new chain installed & put only 79 miles on it to insure there was nothing amiss, this is like a brand new bike, rides better than it looks.Will need first service at about 600 miles to readjust everything after break-in and then you're good to go.

New MotoGP Rules for ECU and Factory Status for 2014

The Grand Prix Commission released new rules for the 2014 MotoGP season regarding the standard electronic control unit and what constitutes “factory status” for manufacturers. Starting in 2014, the official MotoGP ECU including internal datalogger from Magneti Marelli will become mandatory. Factory teams will be allowed to program their own ECU software while privateers will be required to run the standard software.

One of the unsung heroes of the BSB paddock over the past few seasons, has to be 2010 Superstock 1000 runner up Glen Richards. A nasty tumble in at the Brands Hatch opener lead to four DNFs, but once back on track he pushed the dominant BMWs hard, finishing on the podium eight times. While many were trading their grannies to fund new S1000RRs, Richards kept the faith and rode the wheels off his Padgett’s Honda Fireblade.

Nicky Hayden Makes Aspar Team Debut Testing Honda RCV1000R

American racer Nicky Hayden made his first appearance with the Aspar Team, testing the Honda RCV1000R production racer at the official MotoGP post-season test at Spain’s Valencia circuit. Hayden completed 76 laps on the RCV1000R, posting a top lap time of 1:32.576, putting him 13th on the time sheet. The test time was 0.188 seconds faster than his top lap time in Sunday’s race at Valencia on the Ducati Desmosedici.
