2013 Ducati MONSTER 1100 EVO 20th Anniversary Edition (2013)
2013 Ducati MONSTER 1100 EVO 20th Anniversary Edition, The Monster 1100EVO perfectly mixes high engine power, a Ducati Safety Pack (ABS + DTC) contained of advanced electronics, a new sports concept and superior riding pleasure to refine the original Monster formula, which makes it an icon of the naked segment. The 'less-is-more' philosophy behind all Monsters underlines Ducati's never-ending pursuit of genuinely compact, high performance motorcycles, but these new models have succeeded in being even more 'pared down' than their predecessors. Every single component has been redesigned and redeveloped so now more than ever, form follows function. With any details detracting from the Monster concept being eliminated, 'less-is-more' also means 'less-is-Monster'.2013-12-20 23:04:53CHICAGO, IL012,495.00 -

Contact Chris at 312-878-8711, chris@motoworkschicago.com, or through ebay for any questions. We have a lot of time, effort and money into listing this motorcycle on ebay. Please be respectful of that and be certain that you intend to follow through with the sale. Your bid is a contract to buy. We have the listing set up to accept bids only from US bidders in an effort to prevent scammers from ruining the auction. If you are a legitimate bidder outside of the US and you have a way to have the bike picked up at our location without it being crated, please e-mail Chris at chris@motoworkschicago.com. Provide him with your ebay ID and confirm that you can arrange international shipping and have the bike picked up uncrated at our location in Chicago, and he will gladly add you to the list that allows you to bid. The Monster 696 is a great all-around bike that is perfect for a beginner but still plenty of bike for an experienced rider. It's lightweight and easy to handle. It has plenty of torque to make you smile every time you crack open the throttle, but it can also be ridden as tamely as you like. You decide; take it easy or let the Monster out and tear it up. The handling and brakes are what you would expect from a Ducati: superb! This one has only 674 miles on it and it is truly nearly perfect. The footpeg mounts show a little wear from normal use and the area of the tank right above the front of the seat has some very minor scratches from being leaned on while riding. This could be easily buffed out or covered with a tank protector.2013-09-24 17:44:59Chicago, Illinois, US6746,600.00

2024 Honda Transalp Review – First Ride
Fri, 03 Nov 2023A European staple comes to America Photos by Align Media/Honda Adventure bikes weren’t really a thing in 1989, at least not in the United States. Even BMW’s venerable GS was nothing more than a misunderstood, oversized dual-purpose machine with ties to the Paris-Dakar rally, which itself was only a little more than a decade old at the time. At the back of the dealership where I worked in 1991, parked next to the tire rack, languished a 1989 Honda XL600V Transalp.

Honda HQ is effectively a campus, with multiple buildings interlinked by arteries of short roads. Walking is the usual method people use to get around.

Church of MO: 2003 Honda ST1300
Sun, 29 Jan 2023By John Burns 1990 Honda ST1100 begat 2003 Honda ST1300, which begat 2014 Honda CTX1300… which at some point in the last few years seems to have gone, mercifully, the way of all flesh. Now if it’s a Honda sport tourer you crave, it’s the Gold Wing or, well, that’s about it. Anyway, the big 1261cc V-four ST1300 was quite the long-distance mile muncher 20 years ago.
