    Great condition, low mileage, runs excellent - yes I took the muffler off but it then received K&N cone filters and a new jet kit which made the speed in general, and especially at speed on the highway, much better. Re-did the carbs at the beginning of the year and replaced the headlight and some wiring as well as the springs on the rear shocks. Love this bike but with the new baby seems I don't have the time to ride and need to invest in a new family car so you're getinfg a great deal! Just be kind when I cry when you come to pick it up....

    Up for grabs...1979 Honda CB750F Super Sport DOHC First year of Honda's iconic DOHC 750.  Bike is mostly complete barring the side panels.  Overall condition is very good - mufflers have the tell-tale rust holes in the bottom.  Bike does not currently run but the motor does turn over.  Inside of the tank is pretty clean, but I'm sure the carbs will need going through.  Will need brake work as well as a battery.  Definitely a project, but I don't think it will take a whole lot to make it run - it IS a Honda after all! :)  Check out the pictures, what you see is what you get.  Clean title.     This came from an estate, I was told by the son that it ran good when his father last rode it and parked it 27 years ago, The motor turns over with the kick start, I am not going to try to start it. It will need the carb dissembled and cleaned, new or charged battery, tire's seem to be in good shape, hold air and no dry cracking. It seems to be all original and all there, even has the tool kit with it, the only change that I can see is that they installed a new baffle in the muffler and welded it into place.

Honda Opening Fourth Motorcycle Factory in India

Honda announced plans to open its fourth motorcycle manufacturing plant in India, with a production capacity of 1.2 million units per year. Honda is investing 11 billion Indian rupees (US$175.8 million) into the new facility which it hopes will strengthen the position of its subsidiary Honda Motorcycle Scooter India Ltd. as the world’s second largest motorcycle producer while taking aim at the current leader, Hero MotoCorp.

2013 US Motorcycle Sales Data

The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.

Honda Reports Q3 2013-2014 Sales Results

Honda reported an 11.4% increase in sales volume and 30.0% increase in net sales revenue from its motorcycle business in the third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2013. The industry giant sold 4.25 million motorcycles over the quarter compared to sales of 3.82 motorcycles in the same quarter the previous year.

2014 World Supersport Provisional Entry List

The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) released a provisional entry list for the 2014 World Supersport Championship, with 23 riders including two to be announced at a later date. The provisional lists includes riders representing four different manufacturers: Honda, Kawasaki, MV Agusta and Yamaha. Honda is the most popular manufacturer with ten riders (though two are listed as TBA).
