1985 Honda CB-125, 100 MPG, Red, Good Condition (1985)
I am selling my 1985 Honda CB-125, It only has 4,493 actual miles on it, It is in really good shape for an old bike, It is all stock except I removed the long ugly turn signals and put on some really nice short small ones, I Have always used Mobil one full synthetic oil in it, There are no oil leaks and it does not burn oil or smoke, The rear tire is good but the front tire is getting pretty well worn out, The bike is very dependable, All the lights work, The speedometer and odometer both work good, The brakes work good, The clutch works good, The motor starts & runs good, The transmission (5-speed) shifts great and does not have any problems, There is no rust out in the muffler, It is very solid and very quiet but there are a few small dents but has good chrome, The wheels are very nice with no rust, The paint on the bike is good, But there are scratches and dents on the gas tank, Also the front & rear fenders have some scratches in the paint also, The bike will run 65 MPH but that is all she has, Honda advertized this bike to get 100 MPG when new, I believe it, I hardly ever have to put gas in it, Also this bike has never been left outside since I have had it, I love this bike and hate to get rid of it, But I just got a Harley Trike and need the extra room to park it, I live in Winchester, Illinois, 62694, You are welcome to come and look at it and ride it before bidding if you would like to. Fresh restoration.No dirt.This bike is spotless right now.The brakes are new and the cables are all new.The tires are new and a new battery has been installed.The wheels are without rust anywhere.No rust or signs of pitting on the front or rear wheel.They are spotless.We have re-laced the wheels both front and rear with stainless steel spokes.The hubs were polished meticulously while apart.The engine has minimal miles.Thirteen thousand and change is all this bike has on it..New chain and new sprockets and new seals and the list goes on.This bike is good to go.The chrome is original..The bike turns heads big time.Sounds great and rides like a dream..These were the worlds first super bikes and this is undisputed world wide.The new badges are not aftermarket.They are o.e.m. Honda parts.The electrical all functions as it is supposed to function.The charging system is in fine working order..The gauges are original and show the original miles .They look cool and the patina is one of a kind.As long as the gauges are working i will leave them alone.The trip odometer works as it should and the knob is the original in an unbroken state.This is a finely restored bike that will make the new owner very happy.I will consider any reasonable offer so don't hesitate to speak up if you have interest in this bike or one of my others.The pipes are in decent shape and have not been re-chromed.A small repair was done on one pipe but it not where it can be seen.No rust and the baffles are intact.This is a true vintage beauty! Mon, 14 Jul 2014Marco Melandri rebounded from last week’s disappointing Portimao round to win Race One at Laguna Seca while Tom Sykes extended his championship lead with a win in a red-flagged Race Two. Melandri got taken out of the second Portimao race after his Aprilia teammate Sylvain Guintoli slid into his RSV4. Melandri looked eager to make up for that DNF, leading every lap of Race One on his way to his third win of the season.

Thu, 10 Jul 2014When American Honda officially announced the new 2015 CB300F this morning, it didn’t take long to realize the naked version of the CBR300R would not be offered with anti-lock brakes. The lack of ABS, even as an option, was one of the things that differentiated it from the CBR300R which offered it at a $500 premium. That’s not the case north of the border however, as Honda Canada confirmed it will offer the CB300F with ABS as standard equipment.

Thu, 10 Jul 2014As we expected from previously released design trademark diagrams and certification from the California Air Resources Board, Honda has revealed a new naked version of the the CBR300R dubbed the CB300F. The 2015 Honda CB300F shares the same chassis and 286cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine as the CBR300R. The engine itself is similar to the CBR250R’s powerplant, but with the piston stroke increased to 63mm from 55mm.

Pedrosa Staying with Repsol Honda Through 2016 MotoGP Season
Wed, 09 Jul 2014Honda has signed Dani Pedrosa to a two-year contract extension that will see the Spanish racer stay with its factory MotoGP team through the 2016 season. By the end of the contract, Pedrosa will have spent a whole decade racing for Honda in the premier class to go with another five seasons in the 125cc and 250cc classes. The signing follows a similar two-year contract extension for Pedrosa’s teammate, the reigning World Champion Marc Marquez while over in the Yamaha camp, Valentino Rossi also recently signed a two-year contract extension, making 2016 the year to watch for silly season drama.

Mon, 07 Jul 2014Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes extended his championship lead while a Race Two collision between Aprilia teammates Sylvain Guintoli and Marco Melandri provided drama in the World Superbike Championship round at Portugal’s Portimao track. Sykes qualified on the pole in a sun-draped Superpole session but the clouds rolled in on race day, forcing teams to plan for mixed weather. An overcast sky presided over a dry Race One, leading to a mix of tire choices but all of the racers switched to wet tires for Race Two that saw the scheduled 20-lap length reduced to 18 laps.
