Fresh restoration.No dirt.This bike is spotless right now.The brakes are new and the cables are all new.The tires are new and a new battery has been installed.The wheels are without rust anywhere.No rust or signs of pitting on the front or rear wheel.They are spotless.We have re-laced the wheels both front and rear with stainless steel spokes.The hubs were polished meticulously while apart.The engine has minimal miles.Thirteen thousand and change is all this bike has on it..New chain and new sprockets and new seals and the list goes on.This bike is good to go.The chrome is original..The bike turns heads big time.Sounds great and rides like a dream..These were the worlds first super bikes and this is undisputed world wide.The new badges are not aftermarket.They are o.e.m. Honda parts.The electrical all functions as it is supposed to function.The charging system is in fine working order..The gauges are original and show the original miles .They look cool and the patina is one of a kind.As long as the gauges are working i will leave them alone.The trip odometer works as it should and the knob is the original in an unbroken state.This is a finely restored bike that will make the new owner very happy.I will consider any reasonable offer so don't hesitate to speak up if you have interest in this bike or one of my others.The pipes are in decent shape and have not been re-chromed.A small repair was done on one pipe but it not where it can be seen.No rust and the baffles are intact.This is a true vintage beauty! As I've stated earlier...She's not a new bike...But that being said at 33 years old, she's a good bikeThere is rust around both tail pipes, and along some of the chrome fenders, she doesn't have her original seat (that's another auction), and the horn needs to be installedThe front brakes have been completely replaced (caliper and pads), a new ignition system has be installed, and a new gel battery.The title is free and clear...The odometer reads 19259 at time of posting...I'll admit that there might be some more on it by the time the auctions ends...You can't fault me for wanting to take her out at least a few more times...She was a gift to me from my late father-in-law. 1983 Honda CB 1000C Low Miles (1983)
A nice example of a rare 1983 Honda CB 1000 C. I am the second owner, and have taken great care of this bike. Original miles are stated, all parts are Honda or Hondaline. There are no known issues with this bike, and is ridden on occasion. Current registration, clear MN title in my name, and turn key condition. This is a real nice cruising bike, both on the highway and in the city. 10 gears ( 5 hi or 5 low). Depending on the riding condition, allows you to adjust to hills or flatland riding. I have painstakingly replaced, or repaired many components that were bad or going bad over the last several years. Some new items in the last year are: Front tire, CDI units, Fuel valve, Carburetors rebuilt and synchronized, brake calipers rebuilt, new brake pads replaced, new plug wires, spark plugs, air filter, rear brake master cylinder rebuilt, front brake rotors replaced (V65 vented rotors). There are NO known problems with this bike, and is fully functional and fast. Feel free to ask questions, as I will do my best to answer. Note: I have the original rear grab bar, it comes with the bike, just not currently installed. ( see Photo ) Note: The seat is OEM and has never been recovered. Up for auction from my collection is my 1965 Honda CB450 K0 Black Bomber. I purchased this CB450 some time ago with the intent of doing a restoration or bobber project. I targeted this particular CB450 because I felt it would be a good parts bike candidate or would be perfect for a bobber project as these style bikes keep increasing in popularity and value. I also purchased is since the CB450 K0 models are very, very hard to find in any condition. 2015 Honda CB300F Gets CARB Approval
Wed, 18 Jun 2014The Honda CBR300R will be joined by a naked model, if new certification documents from the California Air Resources Board are any indication. Back in March, we broke the story of a design patent for a new small-displacement naked Honda based on its CBR300R/CBR250R platform. CARB has certified a new model called the 2015 Honda CB300F along with the CBR300R and its ABS-equipped variant.
45,367 Motorcycle Thefts Reported in US in 2013
Tue, 10 Jun 2014Americans reported 45,367 stolen motorcycles in 2013, down 1.5% from 2012, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau‘s latest Motorcycle Theft and Recovery Report. According to the NICB motorcycle thefts have been on the decline every year since 2007 when 65,678 motorcycles were reported stolen, though the overall trend appears to be leveling off. Japanese motorcycles continue to be the most popular target for thieves.

Mon, 09 Jun 2014The first ever World Superbike round in Malaysia offered a plenty of drama including both factory Kawasaki riders crashing out on the first lap, a red flagged second race and an overall impressive outing by Aprilia. Under pressure for his lack of results so far this season, Marco Melandri impressed, earning the double for his first career wins on the RSV4 Factory. Aprilia riders led every lap in both races at Sepang, including the red-flagged initial start for Race 2, with Sylvain Guintoli joining his teammate on the podium with a pair of second-place finishes.

The New Fastest Electric Motorcycle Lap, With John McGuinness + Video
Fri, 06 Jun 2014Earlier this week, John McGuinness won the single-lap TT Zero electric motorcycle race at the Isle of Man TT aboard his Mugen Shinden San. In the process, the 21-time TT winner smashed the old lap record of 109.675 mph, setting an average speed of 117.366 mph from a standing start. To put that in perspective, McGuinness’ teammate, Bruce Anstey, aboard a sister Mugen, set the outright lap record earlier this week aboard his Honda CBR1000RR superbike of over 132 mph.

It is the second-consecutive year that Dunlop has won four races in a single TT, this time capturing the Senior, Superbike, Superstock, and the second Supersport TT races. It took a while for Dunlop to get going.

Thu, 05 Jun 2014Dave Molyneux won his 17th career TT as he and passenger Patrick Farrance took the second Sidecar race of the 2014 Isle of Man TT. Molyneux is the career leader in Sidecar TT wins and third overall in total Isle of Man TT victories behind Joey Dunlop and John McGuinness. Molyneux and Farrance won the race by a good 44-second margin but they benefited greatly from a mechanical problem plaguing early race leaders John Holden and Andrew Winkle.
Isle of Man TT 2014: Monster Supersport TT 2 Results
Wed, 04 Jun 2014Michael Dunlop led from start to finish to win the second Supersport TT race, giving him 10 TT victories in his career, tying him with the likes of Giacomo Agostini. Dunlop also joins sidecar racer Robert Fisher, Ian Lougher and Stanley Woods with 10 wins apiece, all tied for seventh overall on the all-time wins list. Riding his MD Racing Honda CBR600RR, Dunlop got off to a strong start, recording a time of 17:55.817 on the opening lap, giving him a 4.6-second advantage over fellow Honda rider Bruce Anstey.
Isle of Man TT 2014: RL360 Superstock TT Results
Tue, 03 Jun 2014Michael Dunlop won his second race in the 2014 Isle of Man TT and ninth in his career, taking the RL360 Superstock TT on a BMW S1000RR. Dunlop also won the Superbike TT earlier, giving BMW its first two wins on the Isle of Man since 1939. Meanwhile, Supersport TT 1 winner Gary Johnson was injured in a crash on the opening lap while running second behind Dunlop.
