Honda CB description

CB1000RIt???s been called a street fighter, a naked bike, a supersport bike in undercover clothing and more. But regardless of what riding niche theCB1000R may fill, it definitely embodies the classic Honda formula for high performance in an unfaired four-cylinder bike???and that???sa very good thing. Boasting clean, essentials-only styling, a fuel-injected four-cylinder 998cc powerplant tuned for loads of right-nowpower, single-sided swingarm with single-shock rear suspension, plus a wealth of street-worthy features that give it its own uniqueidentity, the CB1000R stands tall as a high-performance motorcycle with an enduring design.

Showdown: 2021 Honda CRF300L Vs 2021 Kawasaki KLX300

Fri, 04 Mar 2022

Entry-level, exit-level, and all points in between Credit: Photos by Evans Brasfield; Video by: Sean Matic | Videos by Sean Matic Honda’s first CL72 250 Scrambler was lashed to the bumper of many a Conestoga wagon as it made its way westward, and I’m pretty sure it was a Kawasaki KLX300 that I wheelied over backwards, circa 1997, that really dampened my enthusiasm for stunting. At least Honda’s had the decency to change its nomenclature over the years to give the impression of evolution. Kawasaki is standing pat with the 292 cc Single that’s powered its KLX since 1996, along with its KLX nomenclature.

The future. But we can't have it

Thu, 10 Nov 2011

It's no secret that we motorcyclists are getting older. We're ageing because less people are passing their bike test each year (roughly 30,000 last year compared to 50,000 for the 10 years before the new two-part test) and so not only is the pool not growing it's not even being replenished and so the average age isn't being diluted down by yoof. When the going gets tough in any situation, you really get to see who's got their shit-sorted and who's light enough on their feet to adapt to change.

2011 Honda CBR125R Makes Canadian Debut

Fri, 10 Dec 2010

As we posted earlier this week, Honda Canada invited CBR125R owners to its corporate headquarters for the Canadian debut of the new CBR250R. But that wasn’t the only unveiling, as the 2011 edition of the CBR125R was also revealed. While the new 250 was the star of Honda Canada’s launch event, the 125 owners in attendance reacted positively to the updates for the 2011 CBR125R model.
