Honda CB description

2004 Honda Cb 600F, 2004 Honda Cb 600F, Extremely clean 2004 Honda CB600F 599 hornet. Great bike, quick and agile yet comfortable enough to take the long rides (unlike most sportbikes). Bike averages 48-50 MPG. This one is yellow and is in immaculate shape, not drops, dings, wrecks, etc like a lot of the bikes for sale out there that are then patched up. Many upgrades including, new Michillen Pilot Power tires, new chain and sprocket (520 conversion is lighter and has better power delivery), Art Fibras undertail kit cleans up the rear end along with a clear lense LED brake & turn signal integrators, LED short stalk front indicators as well as Integrated LED sport mirrors round it out nicely. Brushed aluminum flush mount bar ends. Two-Brothers racing titanium exhaust adds both great performance but a much nicer sound (currently there is a noise reducer installed but it can easily be removed to increase the sound if desired). This bike had an oil change 500 miles ago w/ full synthetic race oil and a K&N oil filter. Adult owned & riden, never stunted or wrecked. This would be a great entry bike for someone to learn on or make a fantastic bike for an experienced rider. Very comfortable, dependable and fun. $4200 cash or $4500 w/Shoei graphics Helmet text ONLY 210-eight 6 one-3 four 6 five $4,200.00 $4,200.00 2108613465

Awesome Anaheim Supercross

Fri, 11 Jan 2013

The highlight of this winter has to be my visit to last week’s Anaheim Californian Supercross.  I’ve followed this spectacular series on Motors TV but the atmosphere while watching the action live is something else. Forty five Yankee dollars gets you a good seat high in the stadium, with practice starting at 12.30pm and the main event kicking off at 7.30pm. If you are making a day of it however, I’d recommend buying a pit pass then you can get in full anorak mode to hassle the teams and riders for autographs and photos.  We conveniently made some new friends allowing us to do some pre event ‘tail gating’, a great concept which is basically barbecuing and downing beer around your vehicle in the surrounding car parks.  The evening race schedule is four hours of nonstop action starting with the capacity crowd standing for the American national anthem sung by a stunning blonde with a huge voice.

BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates

Tue, 03 Jan 2012

In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.

Teaser: 2012 Japanese Literbike Shootout – Video

Thu, 29 Mar 2012

The last time we assembled the superbike offerings from the Big Four Japanese manufacturers to determine the alpha male model was 2009. The CBR won that confrontation, but a lot’s changed since then. For 2012 Honda revamped the CBR1000RR, Yamaha added traction control to the R1, the GSX-R1000 lost a muffler and last year Kawasaki introduced an all-new ZX-10R.
