1994 Honda Cb 1000R, a.k.a., Big One Mechanically this bike is stock. Customization has been cosmetic only. I'm the 3rd owner and I have the service records from the 2 previous owners - all adult riders. All body parts were painted jet black and the seat cowl was modified (same original seat). Added 1960's wing emblems to the side covers. I still have the original seat cowl and tail light (and a few other original parts) which will go with the bike. I also have a 3rd seat cowl which I attempted to transform into a cafer racer seat but never finished (work in progress).... Bike runs beautifully and screams when you give it a little gas. Tue, 30 Dec 2008A new report says riders with ABS-equipped bikes can dramatically reduce the chance of a fatal accident. The study compared fatality rates among riders on bikes that have antilock brakes, and it found that death rates were 38% lower on motorcycles equipped with the optional ABS systems compared to non-ABS bikes. In 2005-2006, the fatal crashes per 10,000 registered motorcycles without antilock brakes was 6.6.
Honda MotoGP Testing Idled By Engine Failure Investigation
Wed, 29 Feb 2012A red warning light prevented Honda riders from taking part in the second day of MotoGP testing at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit. While its competitors were hitting the track, Honda was forced to wait for analysis on the engine of Dani Pedrosa‘s RC213V. A red warning light on the RC213V’s dash came on late in the first day of testing, indicating a potential failure.
