Honda CB description

This bike runs great and has no mechanical issues.  I just took it for a 200 mile ride with no problems and the bike is comfortable at 90, but thats not it's top speed.
I am a professional mechanic and I did all the work on it, and as I did it I painted all the small parts on the bike, and polished all the aluminum parts then clear coated them.  It dulled the shine some but it makes it so you will never have to polish them again.
Has new progressive springs front and rear, rebuilt front forks with new seals, new front pads and all brake calipers painted.  Carbs are fully cleaned and rebuilt, tuned and synced, also painted and polished.  4 into 1 header has been painted and wrapped, then installed with new gaskets.  Entire engine, transmission, and frame painted with VHT paints.  Failed fuel tank liner was removed, rust removed with acid, then inside of tank was etched with phosphoric and a new Caswell clear fuel tank liner was installed.
The body panels have been painted Honda Nighthawk Black Pearl, but is not a show quality paint job.  There are a couple chips that were not filled in before painting, and the clear coat was never buffed and polished.  The only defects that are easily seen are two bumps on top of the tank, on the right side.  You can see one of them in the picture showing the inside of the tank.
Ive had this bike for almost a year, and have a little over 2,000 in it now.  It's my daily driver so the milage will continue to go up.  buyer is responsible for pickup, and If you hire a shipping company, I'll assist them as much as I can. If its not to far away I can deliver it myself for 50 cents a mile, plus $50 for every 10 hours of driving.

Awesome Anaheim Supercross

Fri, 11 Jan 2013

The highlight of this winter has to be my visit to last week’s Anaheim Californian Supercross.  I’ve followed this spectacular series on Motors TV but the atmosphere while watching the action live is something else. Forty five Yankee dollars gets you a good seat high in the stadium, with practice starting at 12.30pm and the main event kicking off at 7.30pm. If you are making a day of it however, I’d recommend buying a pit pass then you can get in full anorak mode to hassle the teams and riders for autographs and photos.  We conveniently made some new friends allowing us to do some pre event ‘tail gating’, a great concept which is basically barbecuing and downing beer around your vehicle in the surrounding car parks.  The evening race schedule is four hours of nonstop action starting with the capacity crowd standing for the American national anthem sung by a stunning blonde with a huge voice.

Do you remember Honda's EVO Blade?

Thu, 05 May 2011

I can remember exactly where I was when I first saw Honda's TT100 Evolution Fireblade: at the dinner table, reading MCN as a 16-year old lad and being told to put the paper down and get on with my dinner! I'm sure you appreciate why the lamb chops had to wait.. It was created by Honda to celebrate their 100th TT victory, however I'm pretty sure Honda had another agenda: to homologate it so they could put it up against the mighty new Yamaha R1 at the TT.

Hopkins to Sit Out 2013 Racing Season to Recover from Injuries

Tue, 09 Oct 2012

American John Hopkins announced he is taking a sabbatical from racing for 2013 to recover from a number of significant injuries. Hopkins’ once very promising racing career has been hampered by both a series of bad luck and injury. It seems so long ago that Hopkins finished fourth overall in the 2007 MotoGP Championship with Suzuki.
