1981 honda cb125 689 original miles. beautiful chrome, black paint and plastic very nice, all original including tires. starts well and has that great one cylinder four cycle sound. five speed trans shifts great. Kick start only. Oil has been changed. Would need tires changed to be a daily street driver but work as is. Flaws gas tank developed pin hole leaks on the bottom center left side from today's fuels. I cleaned, epoxied, and painted it and it looks good and does not leak. I do however have an extra exact fuel tank for replacement in case someone wants to repair the original. Also since the bike is rarely used, I take it out of the garage every summer and put 2to5 miles max driving it gently in my yard, the clutch sometimes sticks after sitting. I just rock it in fifth gear moving the clutch lever and it breaks free. I love looking at this bike, starting it, I have had it nine years and keep it as a time capsule. It makes a great attraction to a lawn sale. Many people stop just to see the bike. There are a lot of big ones out there but rarely are the small ones saved. Right now I feel someone else may want to enjoy this beautiful looking simple machine. Sold as is. Ask questions. LOCAL PICKUP or BUYER MUST ARRANGE SHIPPING. Mon, 24 Feb 2014The 2014 World Supersport season opened in dramatic fashion after a red-flagged restart turned the 18-lap race into a five-lap sprint, with MV Agusta making a triumphant return to the top of the podium for the first time since 1976. The Supersport event began with a hard-fought battle between three-time champion Kenan Sofuoglu, Kev Coghlan and Michael van der Mark. Sofuoglu and his Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R held a slim lead over Coghlan’s Yamaha R6 and van der Mark’s Honda CBR600RR when the race was halted after CIA Insurance Honda rider Jack Kennedy suffered an engine problem and leaked oil onto the track.

Honda Reports Q1 2011-2012 Results
Tue, 02 Aug 2011Honda reported a 88.3% year-on-year decrease in net profit over its first quarter ended June 30, 2011, thanks in large part to the March 11 earthquake and ensuing tsunamis in Japan. Honda reported a profit of 31.7 billion yen (US$411.1 million) over the quarter, a fraction of the 272.4 billion yen (US$3.53 billion) reported over the same quarter last year. The decrease came mainly from a large dropoff in automobile sales. Net sales from the motorcycle division helped keep Honda in the black despite a drop in unit sales.
