Honda CB description

VERY VERY RELUCTANT SALE OF MY BABY! I HAD BOUGHT THIS FROM ACROSS THE OTHER SIDE OF COUNTRY AND HAVE HAD IT A YEAR. A CHANGE OF CIRCUMSTANCES FORCES THIS SALE. I MOVED AND HAVE NO PLACE TO STORE IT AND IT DESERVES TO BE KEPT WELL. IT HAS JUST OVER 13,000 ORIGINAL MILES. I COMPLETELY REBUILT CARBS AND CLEANED ALL OF THEM. IT STARTS RIGHT AWAY, EXCEPT NEEDS A LITTLE TLC WHEN COLD AS ALL 4 CYLINDER ENGINES DO.:-). I HAVE WORKED ON THE CARBS, FULL CLEAN AND REBUILD. BRAKES AND CABLES. SOME COSMETIC CLEANING WOULD BRING IT TO PRISTINE. TIRES HAVE GOOD TREAD BUT MIGHT BE REPLACED AS THEY HAVE BEEN ON THE BIKE A LONG TIME. IT IS A GREAT BIKE ESPECIALLY FOR OVER 30 YEARS AND A CLASSIC. IT RUNS SMOOTH AND ENGINE SOUNDS AS IT SHOULD. GRUNTY BUT SMOOTH. I HATE TO PART WITH IT BUT MUST...THIS WOULD MAKE A FANTASTIC CAFE, OR KEEP IT ORIGINAL. IT DESERVES TO BE LOVED AND CARED FOR AS I HAVE LOVED AND CARED FOR IT. IT IS ONLY GOING BECAUSE I HAD TO MOVE AND I DONT HAVE A COVERED GARAGE FOR IT. USHIP OFFERS REALLY GOOD DEALS THROUGH EBAY FOR PRIVATE HAULERS AND SHIPPERS. YOU CAN GET A REALLY GOOD RATE TO MOVE IT FOR YOU IF YOU SHOP AROUND A LITTLE. I USED THEM AND WAS VERY SATISFIED. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK ME ANY QUESTIONS. I AM A LONG TIME VERIFIED EBAY SELLER. 2013 Honda CBR500, CB500R and CB500X Spied in Commercial Shoot

Thu, 25 Oct 2012

Spy photographers have captured Honda‘s new three-bike 500-series in the midst of filming for a commercial at the Piazza Garibaldi in Naples, Italy. The images, published on Il Centro, reveal Honda‘s new sportbike-styled CBR500, the naked CB500R which we first revealed in September, as well as an adventure-styled model bearing the name CB500X. The three new models are expected to share the same  engine, believed to be a 470cc parallel twin.

MotoGP to Standardize ECU Software in 2016 Season

Tue, 18 Mar 2014

MotoGP‘s Grand Prix Commission announced the series will adopt a standardized Engine Control Unit hardware and software programming for all entries starting with the 2016 season. At the moment, all teams are required to use a standard ECU hardware supplied by Magneti Marelli. Teams competing under the Factory option are allowed to use their own proprietary software programming while Open option participants must use standardized software.

Stuck for a gift? Solution No3: Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki or Kawasaki merchandise

Fri, 09 Dec 2011

After the excesses of KTM and Harley's gifts ranges, Hondas seems tame. But even the sober Japanese firm has a handful of oddities in its line-up. The Japanese have been accused of imitating in the past, and Honda's incorporation of a baby's dummy in its official accessories catalogue mimics KTM's 'Silencer-System Mini Pro'.
