Honda CB description

Up for grabs...1979 Honda CB750F Super Sport DOHC
First year of Honda's iconic DOHC 750.  Bike is mostly complete barring the side panels.  Overall condition is very good - mufflers have the tell-tale rust holes in the bottom.  Bike does not currently run but the motor does turn over.  Inside of the tank is pretty clean, but I'm sure the carbs will need going through.  Will need brake work as well as a battery.  Definitely a project, but I don't think it will take a whole lot to make it run - it IS a Honda after all! :)  Check out the pictures, what you see is what you get.  Clean title.
Feel free to give us a call or drop us an email and we will be happy to answer any questions - thanks for checking out our auctions!
Low cost shipping may be an option, depending on your location!
And because this is ebay, please note that this motorcycle is currently non-running and will fully serviced before it is road-worthy.

Please note: we will cancel any bids from bidders with less than 10 feedback.  If you are interested but have less than 10 feedback, please give us a call.  We are advertising this bike for sale locally so we reserve the right to end the auction early, however, we will not end the auction once a bid is placed so bid early.  Thanks!

Casey Stoner To Be Named MotoGP Legend

Fri, 11 Oct 2013

There’s no question Casey Stoner was (and still is) one of the best riders ever to throw a leg over a motorcycle. His accomplishments on two wheels, especially his championships on both Ducati and Honda machinery, are proof. Next week at the MotoGP round at Phillip Island in Australia, Stoner will join a distinct group of riders as he will be officially inducted into the MotoGP Hall of Fame.

Having a Randy Mamola moment

Thu, 10 May 2012

Back in 1985 Randy Mamola was captured on film performing the most miraculous save of all time, hanging on for dear life as his Honda NSR500 tried to fling him from his seat. Recently, we've seen some impromptu homages to the original with Jonathan Rea at Assen and the near-save from Jakub Kornfeil in the Moto3 race at Jerez. Now we have on-board footage of American racer Genki Hagata calming a high-side at the Infineon Raceway in California.

Honda Announces Returning 2013 Models with New Colors

Tue, 04 Sep 2012

As we mentioned in an earlier post about the Repsol edition CBR250R, American Honda has announced a number of returning models for 2013 featuring new color schemes. The returning models include the big touring Gold Wing, the Fury chopper, the 1312cc Sabre, Stateline and Interstate cruisers, the 750cc Shadow cruisers, the entry-level Rebel and the XR650L dual-sport. All model come back unchanged except for the paint, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
