1978 HONDA CB750 FOUR K This is a nice, solid 1978 Honda CB750 Four K. The SOHC motor runs strong and the bike drives good. If the fuel is not shut off when parked the carbs will flood and leak gas from the overflow and occasionally there is a slight hesitation coming off idle. I would recommend a carb cleaning / tune up. There is link below to a video of the bike running. The paint is original and in decent condition but does have some scratches and peeling clear coat. The seat cover was replaced recently and looks great. The battery is new and the tires are in good condition. This is a good solid bike with low miles. Voluntary Recall for Continental ContiMotion Sport-Touring Tires
Mon, 21 Jan 2013Continental Tire announced a voluntary recall campaign for certain ContiMotion sport-touring tires. According to Continental, market feedback has shown some tires may experience uneven wear from the 180/60R16 74H ContiMotion rear tires. Tires may develop groove cracking and, in some cases, belt lift, conditions which can lead to a loss of tire inflation pressure and a potential for loss of control.
New MotoGP Rules for ECU and Factory Status for 2014
Fri, 26 Jul 2013The Grand Prix Commission released new rules for the 2014 MotoGP season regarding the standard electronic control unit and what constitutes “factory status” for manufacturers. Starting in 2014, the official MotoGP ECU including internal datalogger from Magneti Marelli will become mandatory. Factory teams will be allowed to program their own ECU software while privateers will be required to run the standard software.
