1978 Honda Cb on 2040-motos
Honda CB tech info
Honda CB description
This is a 1978 CB 750 with only 18,326 miles on it. The bike is like new; the Cafe conversion is not a kit. Handmade Seat, Hand-tooled (Wet Leather, Wooden Mallet knee-slotted tank) New Pipe, Chain, Sprocket, Paint, Shock Service, Total Tune, New Tires, and ALWAYS serviced by Rolf's Motorcycles in Longmont, Colorado. Can verify all numbers, past tune-ups, back to 2004 when I bought it as an all original CB. I decided to have the Cafe Conversion build on it and it came out awesome. It turns heads and lights. I took this sweet bike and made it the best Cafe out there. Some details (as in paint on clutch and brake handles, but thats about it) are left on it- but this bike is not only sweet- but the 78 OVHC engine ALONE is a bullet proof power plant is so very smooth and such a good, no problem engine. Once the build was complete, I found that the bike does not fit me. I am 6'2 and it is just a little small for me. Barring that- I would keep this head and light turner. I love bikes and I love this one. Thats pretty much the rundown on the bike and why I am selling it. :) Rides, Runs and Looks like a Champ. Im gonna miss her. |

Like the L, the CRF250M uses re-tuned version of the CBR250R‘s engine, a liquid-cooled fuel-injected 249cc Single. When we dyno’ed the CRF250L in our recent 2013 250cc class dual-sport shootout, we measured a peak of 20.3 hp at 8700 rpm and 14.0 ft-lb.
Hot Lap Around Spa-Francorchamps With Xavier Simeon
Fri, 20 Jan 2012If you’re a fan of motorsport on both two and four wheels like me, then you should be familiar with the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium. Here, Belgian native Xavier Simeon, the 2009 FIM Superstock 1000 champion and current Moto2 competitor, does a couple flying laps around his home track aboard a Honda CBR600RR at what appears to be a trackday. The speed he carries and the smoothness of his riding are simply extraordinary.
How about Edwards at Repsol Honda?
Wed, 13 Jun 2012Casey Stoner's decision to retire at the end of the season has had a real shake-up for the Repsol Honda line-up along with the discussion, rumour and speculation of who will take his vacated seat for next season. With silly season occurring much earlier following Stoner's announcement at the French GP in May, rumours and speculation have been banded around with three candidates leading the way: Jorge Lorenzo, Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez. Lorenzo, until he was confirmed to stick with Yamaha for another two seasons, was the most plausible of the trio as both himself and Casey are the top two riders in the world right now, making him the obvious choice after the Australian departs.
