Honda CB description

1977 Honda cb550 in great shape and runs beautifully! have done a lot of work to the bike over the past 8yrs. comes with a spare fuel tank that is in as good of condition as the one on the bike. its a long list- race tech gold valves and springs in the forks with adjustable preload caps, hagon shocks, tapered steering bearings, bronze swingarm bushings, steel braided brake line, modern brake master cylinder, drilled front rotor, 520 oring chain and sprocket conversion, dyna ignition coils, hondaman transistor ignition box, updated fuse holder, Honda clutch plates and Barnett springs, mac 4 in 1 exhaust with a custom fit vance and hines baffle (sounds awesome!), uni air filter, bar end mirror, handlebars.

it really is a great looking bike for its age, its clean but not perfect. gets compliments everywhere it goes. chrome is good but again not perfect. paint is very good (original) there is a small ding on the top left of the tank, it was there when I got the bike. comes with original owners manual.

this bike has been well maintained and ridden. I am the third owner.

reserve has been lowered  happy bidding

I am selling the bike because I have not used it as much as I should in the past few years. just have not been able to do the rides like I used to, its just 10miles to work and back and that's it. its time for someone else to have some fun with it.

I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime as long as reserve has not been met

Honda RC-E Electric Sportbike Revealed at 2011 Tokyo Motor Show

Wed, 30 Nov 2011

We’re still waiting for any technical details but here are initial photographs Honda has released of its new RC-E electric sportbike concept at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show. (Updated with six more high-resolution images.) Honda describes the RC-E as an electric version of a supersports bike, claiming a powerful and smooth ride for an electric vehicle within the compact form of a 250cc-class motorcycle. The images clearly show Brembo calipers and Ohlins suspension, and we especially like the LED headlights and the retro styling.

Honda Zoomer X Prototype – New Ruckus Concept Revealed in Thailand

Wed, 28 Mar 2012

Honda Thailand unveiled a new prototype at the 2012 Bangkok International Motor Show showcasing the next generation of the Ruckus scooter. Known as the Zoomer in other markets, the Honda Ruckus is probably best known for its non-traditional scooter styling, with the usual tiny tires and wasp-like body replaced by a fat rubbers and exposed tube frame. The Honda Zoomer X maintains the original’s rugged-looking tires but instead of the exposed tubes, the Zoomer X has a boxy-looking structure, though like the original the space under the seat is exposed to the elements, so if you want to store something there you might have to break out the bungee cords.

Pedrosa: most wins, least successful

Wed, 11 May 2011

Should Dani Pedrosa win at Le Mans this coming weekend he will become the most successful rider In the premier-class not to win the coveted title. After his triumph in Estoril the Repsol Honda rider currently finds himself on 13 wins and in joint first and a win, at a circuit that sees him rank as one of riders with the most victories in all classes, would make him a clear leader. Joining Pedrosa at the top of the ranking is Max Biaggi and Randy Mamola, two riders who became associated with the number two.
