Honda CB description
Up for your consideration is a very nice original example of
the motorcycle that changed the world.
When Honda first introduced the CB750 the rest of the motorcycle
industry was blown away. In fact the
CB750 was voted the motorcycle of the century!! It is in mostly original condition. Items that have been changed are: ·
Paint is new ·
Clutch Cable is new ·
Throttle cables are new ·
Brakes are new ·
Fork seals are new ·
Gauge faces are new ·
Shocks are new ·
Points are new ·
Plugs are new ·
Seat is NOS The condition of the bike is excellent. All lights work. Motor runs flawlessly. The transmission is without issue. Tires are good. About the only thing this bike needs is the
elec, starter hooked back up. It was
blowing a fuse is I disconnected it. Carbs are freshly cleaned and have been vacuum synced to
perfection. The points and valves are
freshly adjusted to ensure many miles of trouble free riding. The Chrome: Most of
the chrome is in excellent condition.
The rims are pretty nice but have a very slight amount of surface rust
on them. Its not noticeable unless you
get up really close. The spokes are kind
of blah and should be updated to stainless spokes at some point. The Exhaust: It is
the factory orginal 4 into 4 exhaust. It
is very solid and has a few minor blemishes.
It has the standard (very small) hole where the kickstand hits it. The header tubes have some rust but are not
dented or rotted. The exhaust could be
sent out for re-chrome and it would be perfect.
An original 4to4 exhaust is just about impossible to find. This bike is set up and ready to go. It will bring the next owner miles and miles
of enjoyment. Every time I take it out,
people gather around it. It seems that
everyone either had one or knows someone that had one back in the day. The aribox is the factory air box and it was not removed for
pods to be added. Adding pods to these
bikes makes them run like crap. If you don’t
believe me, go to the SOHC forum and ask them. So you’re asking, what does this bike need to be road worthy
and ready to go? The answer is NOTHING.

Honda UNI-CUB: For People Who Enjoy Riding on Moving Trash Cans
Tue, 15 May 2012Remember the Honda U3-X? Unveiled in 2009, the U3-X was Honda‘s personal mobility device concept, essentially a self-balancing electronic unicycle that can move in any direction by simply leaning. Honda has created an updated version it calls the UNI-CUB.
Report: Honda to Increase NC700 Engine Displacement
Tue, 02 Jul 2013British site Visordown reports Honda will release an updated version of its NC700 series with a larger engine for 2014. The larger versions will reportedly carry an extra 50cc, pushing its displacement to 720cc from the current 670cc used on the NC700X, NC700S and Integra scooter. But why would Honda introduce a larger engine so soon after introducing its NC line in the 2012 model year?
