Honda CB description

****1976 HONDA CB750****

You are bidding on a 1976 Honda CB 750. This bike has been taken care of respectfully, adult driven and always kept in a garage. I am the second owner of this bike and have done the following work on it:

· Replaced front and rear tires. · Both side covers are in great shape with no cracks and they are tight. · Replaced old points with electronic ignition, including matching coil/s. The timing purrs like a kitten, no misses, or advance curve issues, just runs like a fine tuned watch! · Replaced the speedometer as the original had 16,000 miles but was damaged in my garage by a two by four that smashed the face and dial. Replacement shows about 24000 miles however that is not accurate. · Replaced seat. · Replaced old battery with a sealed lead acid VRLA, AGM type that has a much lower self discharge factor. (Battery won’t discharge as quick when not charged). ·

This bike has the original exhaust (HM 341). There is NO rust on this exhaust and I have removed, cleaned and replaced the original exhaust baffles using stainless steel hardware. Many of these bikes on Ebay do not have complete exhaust with baffles. This bike is complete!

This bike has one of the engine designs that use the single overhead camshaft. This engine revolutionized biking and further brought Honda into the real bike world at the end of the 60’s. Good bikes are hard to find and I believe this bike is worthy of any collector’s purchase. This bike is guaranteed to perform as designed or better, it has the original manual and tools. It has a clear title and is ready for your bid. Local pick up only. A $500 deposit required via pay pal within 24 hours of auction close. Remainder, Certified Cashier’s Check or Cash in person. I have a video of this bike for your viewing.    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=46r6y-qVtI0&feature=youtu.be

It is the winning bidder’s responsibility to pick this bike up in the North Dallas, TX area. Bike must be picked up by October 28th, 2013 Or Special Arrangements at extra cost will have to be made. Please do not ask me to end the bidding process or to circumvent any eBay rules of this auction. I am happy to answer any questions regarding my offering. I believe the opening price is fair and encourage fair competitive bidding. Answers to your questions can be found at 414-406-1315 (John)

Thank you for looking.

More European Consumers Choosing Honda’s Dual Clutch Transmission

Mon, 15 Apr 2013

Honda‘s work developing its second-generation dual clutch transmission appears to be paying off, at least in Europe. According to Honda, customers have purchased more than 12,500 units with DCT since the technology was first made available on a production motorcycle with the VFR1200F in 2010. The Japanese manufacturer now offers four models in Europe with optional DCT: the VFR1200F, the NC700X, the NC700S, and the Crosstourer.
