Honda CB description

The base is a 1976 Honda CB500Twin. When I got the bike, it had been stored outside for many years not running with about 25k miles on the clock. I decided to completely disassemble and rebuild this bike. During that time, it also became a mentorship project for a young student from Monte Del Sol Charter school during the last winter.
All parts are freshly powder coated or painted. Many new parts such as tires/tubes, seat, battery, carburetors, cables, lights, turn signals, handle bar, switches, exhaust, fork seals, pod-filter, regulator/rectifier etc.
Runs very well and gets a lot of looks.
Clear NM title.
It's not perfect but operates very well. Everything functions.

Deposit of $500 required within 24 hours of auction end. Pay Pal only!

Buyer is responsible for pick-up or transportation.

Which Repsol rider has the most podiums?

Tue, 31 Jul 2012

Dani Pedrosa and Casey Stoner reached a new milestone for Repsol Honda Team at the US Grand Prix this past weekend. After eighteen years of successes, including over 100 victories and 9 world titles, the team achieved the 300 podium landmark through Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa’s efforts in the tenth round of this year’s MotoGP World Championship season. The energy company and the Japanese factory joined forces in 1995, with the intention of reaching the peak of the premier class.

As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship  opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment.    I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.

Rumor Check: Honda's Mini-Africa Twin Will Be The XL750 Transalp

Tue, 23 Aug 2022

Trademark filings confirm the return of a familiar name. Back in May 2021, MO’s resident sleuth Dennis Chung took a dive into the rumor mill surrounding a possible mini-Africa Twin coming from Honda. Trademark filings for the name Transalp were filed in several markets around the world, including the U.S.
