Honda CB tech info

Honda CB description
Four cylinder, four stroke, 400cc Honda in good running condition. Engine starts right up with choke, runs well. All electrics work. Brakes work well. All gears good. Repainted, in good condition. The right side cover is included; however, its upper tabs are broken off so cover will not stay on securely. Bike has stock header pipes with aftermarket muffler. Exhaust works as-is. However, the muffler needs a bracket fabricated to attach it better, and to prevent the center-stand from folding up too high and rubbing drive chain. Alternatively, install an original muffler, which has rubber bumper for center-stand. There is a small ding on the front fender. The bike does not have a side-stand, nor the frame tab to attach one. Bike has surface oxidation on chrome bits and engine cases. Some chrome parts need re-chroming. It is 40 years old. Shipping is not included in sale price. Buyer is responsible for arranging shipping. Comes with NH title in my name. This is a no-reserve-price auction. |

Wed, 25 Nov 2009FOR WHAT we are about to receive... We all know motorcycling's a religion, which may be why Honda chose a defunct church to launch the 2010 VFR1200F - the bike the company reckon will take the sports-touring market by storm. Rain-soaked Spain is the venue for the European launch of the all-new Honda VFR1200F.
2014 WSBK – Assen Results
Mon, 28 Apr 2014Heavy rains and a fortuitous red flag were the difference in the World Superbike Championship‘s visit to The Cathedral of motorcycle racing, the TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands. Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli captured his second win of the season in Race 1, which was halted early by a red flag with five laps to go just as it looked like reigning WSBK champion Tom Sykes was gearing up for a final challenge. The second race was also shortened, not by a red flag but because of a rain, turning the 21-lap race into a 10-lap sprint.
Electric Motorcycle Conversion [video]
Fri, 30 Jul 2010If you were ever curious how to convert your smelly, noisy and dirty gas powered motorcycle into a quiet and zero emissions electric motorcycle then you have to check this video out from GomiStyle. They take an old Honda Rebel 250 and customize the frame to accommodate the electric motor and batteries, they claim the conversion should take about two to three days to complete, the batteries will take about 5-8 hours to charge and will give you a top speed of 45 mph. Here is a link to the step-by-step instructions, check out the video after the jump. The GomiCycle – An Electric Motorcycle Conversion from Media Sapien on Vimeo.
