Honda CB description

Hello Ebayers.   Today we have a 1976 Honda CB 750F Super Sport with 5641 Original miles being sold by my friend who is the original owner.

The facts.

1. The bike has been sitting garaged and was last on the road over 30 years ago.

2. The mirrors were in a box in the garage  and accidentally thrown away....so , no mirrors.

3. The bike had a $200 detailing To bring back some of it's luster ....the detail professional said he could put another 10 hours into it, But because we are selling it, the new owner can give it the loving it needs.

4.The tires were flat after sitting so long...surprisingly they appear to be in good shape. I personally would not trust rubber this old.

5. The engine cranks over with a jump from a car battery but will not start. After removing the two outer fuel bowls I see why. The carbs will need a total rebuild, the right side outer carb will need a fuel float as well ,

I snapped it off with my fingers trying to free it up.

6.Title is clear NY state title issued in 1976 I did check it with the NY State DMV website and it did not appear.  This prompted me to take the title down to my local DMV office. They told me the title is still valid, it

just did not show up because after not being active for so many years the DMV system purges inactive titles out of the system.. So  all clear with the title.

7. Even though the bike was garaged ...It will need work mechanically and cosmetically . I have many pictures...Please feel free ask me for closeups of any specific areas. Just give me a

minimum of 24 hours to send them directly.

8.If you would like to examine the bike in person , we will accommodate you with a time. the bike is in Selden NY 11784

9. Shipping will be the total responsibility of the buyer. I will accommodate any shipping company you send for the bike. I will also over night the title and the key to the new buyer..if you

choose not to let the shipper handle them " at buyers expense".

10. Payment will be by cash or check only . If paying by check the bike will not be released until the check clears in the bank.

11. I hope I covered all the bases ....please contact me with any questions.,     Thanks    Pat

Bradl prepares for Laguna's Corkscrew

Wed, 25 Jul 2012

A rookie to Laguna Seca, Stefan Bradl shows one way to prepare for the Corkscrew; by riding his LCR Honda RC213V down the famous Lombard Street in San Francisco. The reigning Moto2 champion may have never raced at the Californian track but earlier this year he used a break between races to learn the circuit on a Honda CBR1000RR, having only had a virtual experience of Laguna before this year. At the time the young German said: "It is downhill, and there are lots of blind corners.

Honda Re-Signs Marc Marquez Through 2016 MotoGP Season

Marc Marquez has signed a contract extension with Honda Racing Corporation that will see the reigning MotoGP champion stay with the manufacturer through the end of the 2016 season. “We are very satisfied to have reached an agreement to keep Marc in the team for a further two seasons,” says Shuhei Nakamoto, executive vice president of HRC. “Of course, as Honda, we wanted to keep Marc in our family, and he also wanted to stay with us so … it was natural to renew the contract even if it is very early in the season!

Honda presented its 2014 World Superbike and Supersport team, including the new CBR1000RR SP racebike in a presentation at the Motor Bike Expo in Verona, Italy. Jonathan Rea and Leon Haslam are returning in the Pata Honda team colors to ride the CBR1000RR SP in the WSBK class while Michael van der Mark and Lorenzo Zanetti will ride the CBR600RR in the WSS championship. Last season was disappointing for Honda, with both Rea and Haslam missing significant time due to leg injuries.
