Honda CB description

My dad bought this in 1978 and it was my high school graduation present in 1981. I quit riding it in 2007 because it blew a head gasket. It still ran fine when I parked it and I was going to fix it someday but here it is 6 years later and I still haven't fixed it. Rather then have it parked in the garage for who knows how long, I have finally decided to sell it. I tried to pull the top end but came to find out you have to remove the whole engine to do this so I gave up. It's currently not running and is listed as non-op with the DMV so you won't be responsible for back fees. It comes with the original tool kit and owners manual and 2 repair manuals. I have a few extra parts and an extra front wheel somebody gave me in the early 80s. The left handle bar is slightly bent back as I hit a dog in 1983 and went down on the left side. It's a project and needs tlc but it could be a nice rider for somebody. Please e-mail with any questions and thanks for looking at my auction.

Alongside the updated 2014 CB1100, Honda revealed a new variant it calls the CB1100 EX. Both 2014 models were announced at the Tokyo Motor Show but we’re still waiting to hear whether Honda will be coming stateside. The difference between the regular CB1100 and the EX are not that apparent, and at quick glance, it may be difficult to tell them apart.

2014 AMA Supercross – Arlington Results

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

James Stewart‘s hot streak continues with his second-consecutive win and fourth AMA Supercross podium in five weeks after an impressive effort at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Fresh off of signing a contract extension with Yoshimura Suzuki, Stewart took control of the Arlington main event on the third lap, passing holeshot-taker Ryan Dungey and running away with the win. With his win last week at San Diego, Stewart becomes the first rider to win back-to-back races this season and establishes himself as a championship contender as we approach the mid-way point of the 2014 season.
