Honda CB description

This great bike RUNS and I loved riding it for many years!!! It has only 15,188 miles on engine, and will be an easy PROJECT BIKE for someone. It is fully titled and only needs the frame repaired to be back on the road as it broke/rusted where the kickstand attaches (see photo).

As a single, middle-aged woman who has been the sole owner and only rider since 7,000 miles, I took it in to have some basic issue taken care of including: fork seals, replace the regulator/rectifier (I have this part), stator rebuilt/replaced, and new tires. While it was in the shop the kickstand gave out. The point of attachment is rusted and would not support kickstand. Unfortunately I have no skills to repair the bike myself and I cannot afford to have a shop do it at this point.

SHIPPING INFO: The bike is currently at a La Crosse, WI motorcycle dealer shop and needs to be picked up there. We could possibly meet the buyer partway to deliver if PAID IN FULL. Text 608 792 1451 to ask about options.

NOTE: The sissy bar/rack and Rooster fairing will not go with the bike

Teaser: 2012 Japanese Literbike Shootout – Video

Thu, 29 Mar 2012

The last time we assembled the superbike offerings from the Big Four Japanese manufacturers to determine the alpha male model was 2009. The CBR won that confrontation, but a lot’s changed since then. For 2012 Honda revamped the CBR1000RR, Yamaha added traction control to the R1, the GSX-R1000 lost a muffler and last year Kawasaki introduced an all-new ZX-10R.

Marc Marquez Crash Data Analysis From Silverstone

Thu, 05 Sep 2013

During warm-up for last weekend’s Silverstone MotoGP race, Repsol Honda rider Marc Marquez crashed between turns seven and eight, losing the front while on the brakes. The fall caused the MotoGP rookie’s shoulder to pop out of its socket, and Alpinestars has released the data from Marquez’ Tech-Air-equipped suit for us to further examine. Looking at the graph below, you’ll see the impact was focused on Marquez’ left shoulder.
