Honda CB tech info

Honda CB description
Up for bids and sold to the highest bidder is this 1975 Honda CB550K Four. K1. Only 15k original miles. 99% original. The original Flake Sunrise Orange paint in this scheme was only available in 1975. This machine was a barn find prior to my acquisition. There is surface rust around the edges all over. The bike looks good from 20 feet but has surface rust as seen. Some people call it patina. The surface rust is only aesthetic and does not affect operation. Would benefit greatly from a detail and clean up. The carburetors were rebuilt and synced. New period correct battery(made in japan). The bike starts right up with electric or kick start. Engine runs good. No leaks or smoke. The bike rides nice. Shifts through the gears smoothly. The brakes stop but the front drags sometimes. Has aftermarket master cylinder but original is included(needs rebuilt). The wheels have pitting rust as seen. The fenders are uncut and also have some surface rust on edges. The original exhaust looks presentable but has surface rust and staining as seen. There are no holes and the exhaust sounds nice. Both gauges work. The dials have alligatoring as seen which is common for this model. Does not affect operation. The turn signals and horn work. The oil light and turn signal indicator lights on the dash work. The neutral and high beam do not(maybe bulb). The headlight tail light and brake light work. The gas tank has no egregious dents or damage. Some fading, small dents and scratches. Someone has coated the inside and spilled coating on exterior as seen. The seat looks nice and is a recover from the 80s. The rear grab rail is painted black. Other than that it appears all original. The tires hold air with decent tread but they are old. Has clear Ohio title. Email with questions. Buyer to pay $500 non refundable deposit with 3 days of auctions end and balance due within 7 days. NO EXCEPTIONS! I can assist with loading at you or your shippers convenience from my commercial location 45410. Honda Likes to Dress Up
Fri, 31 Oct 2008Who doesn’t love Halloween? Well my neighbor down the street who turns off all his lights and flips the sprinklers on for Halloween night doesn’t, but he’s a jerk. Honda was in a Halloween spirit when they came up with this ad campaign consisting of some of their rides “dressed” in ridiculous outfits.
Results From The AMA Races At Daytona
Sat, 15 Mar 2014Photo: Brian J. Nelson Danny Eslick capped off his return to the AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike class in spectacular fashion, winning the 73rd edition of the Daytona 200. The native of Broken Arrow, OK, and a two-time series champ won pole and then outlasted the competition to win the big one.
2014 Honda NC750S, NC750X May be Heading to Canada
Mon, 25 Nov 2013We were disappointed when American Honda announced it would offer the NC700X in 2014 the very same day its parent company revealed the NC model line was getting upgraded to 750 in other markets. It was bad enough Americans only got the adventure-styled X version and not the NC700S naked standard or Integra scooter in Europe, but for 2014, American Honda will continue offering the 670cc model instead of the new 745cc version. Canada may be another story however, as Honda Canada’s website has pages set up for both the NC750X and NC750S.
