Rebuilt Carburetors w/ all new gaskets and Jetting Original OEM paint was in such good condition we couldn't justify touching it a few minor scuffs but looks great! Flat Tracker Bars w/ White Grips Engine was timed and valves adjusted to spec Fresh Oil Change We made a bracket to custom mount the OEM speedometer Some neat custom features like ON led light built into the headlight bucket and green neutral led built into the sprocket cover. New Cables New Lithium ION battery tucked into the custom electronics box under the seat Pod filters New Tires Custom Seat Frame customized with a tail hoop to finish off where the seat mounts nicely LED tail light with built in turn signals / this bike does have front and rear turn signals. Here, Belgian native Xavier Simeon, the 2009 FIM Superstock 1000 champion and current Moto2 competitor, does a couple flying laps around his home track aboard a Honda CBR600RR at what appears to be a trackday. The speed he carries and the smoothness of his riding are simply extraordinary.
Virginia Tech Bolt To Race At NJMP, July 12-13
Mon, 07 Jul 2014The Virginia Tech Bolt e-bike racing team will compete in the July 12-13 zero emissions road race at New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville NJ. This race is part of the eMotoRacing series, which runs in conjunction with AHRMA. The 96 volt student-built prototype racebike will compete in the eSuperSport class against a field of production based Brammo Empulses. The Bolt Team is no stranger to competition, as it has previous experience racing in the TTXGP series in 2012.
