Honda CB description

Up for sale is a 1975 cb360t with some light cafe styling. 360cc engine is wonderful around town and is actually pretty quick with the 6 speed close ratio transmission, and can cruise comfortably at highway speeds also. Very light and nimble bike. Rode the bike for a year or so and recently upgraded some things for the sale. Work done and modifications include:

Clubman handlebars

Tank knee dents

Starter delete (kick start only)

2-1 exhaust

Plum metal flake paint (some minor hazing)

lined tank, so no rust problems

Round tail light with plate lamp

Freshly rebuild carbs with stock jetting and air boxes

All new oil seals

New clutch disks and upgraded springs

New chain

New brake piston and fluid

Smaller battery

Headlight on/off switch

New fork oil for seals and gaiters

New rear tire

Speedo and tach work, lights and all. Carbs have been synced and tuned, charging system charges, oil is new, points and valves are adjusted. All work done by professional mechanics, all new parts ordered from common-motor.

The bike starts with first or second kick, doesn't leak a drop of oil, sounds great, shifts great, looks great, and is a blast to ride.

Day 4 Dakar 2014: Juan Pedrero Wins Stage Aboard Sherco

Wed, 08 Jan 2014

Stage 4 of the 2014 Dakar saw Juan Pedrero take his maiden victory aboard a Sherco SR 450 Rally. Although not in contention for the overall, Pedrero showed he has outgrown his previous role as Marc Coma’s lieutenant at KTM by bringing his Sherco across the finish line 3:10 faster than third place Coma and 29 seconds faster than second place finisher Francisco Lopez. Coma’s performance in today’s stage moved him to only 3:10 behind overall leader Joan Barreda.

New: Venhill 888 fast-action twistgrips

Fri, 01 Mar 2013

CONTROL specialist Venhill has launched its new 888 range of bike-specific fast action twistgrips.  Supplied complete with the company's top of the range Featherlight cables, the kits are designed for a straightforward replacement of the factory-fitted equipment.  Bike-specific kits are now available for the Honda CBR600F, Kawasaki ZX-6R/ZX-10R, Suzuki GSX-R600/750, Triumph 675 Daytona and Yamaha R1/R6, among others, with prices from £105. Here's Venhill's description of the new product: "Manufactured with a robust CNC machined alloy body, the 888 fast action twistgrip provides a choice of two settings and is supplied with two rotors so that riders can select the throttle action that best suits the riding conditions.  Settings can be changed swiftly by undoing the two set screws securing the throttle body and changing the rotor. On the fastest setting there is 80° of rotation, (taking up 36mm of the cable), which is typically 45% faster than 'standard' throttles.
