Honda CB description
Selling another one of my toys to take care of an unforeseen expense. This 450 has been my rider for the past two summers. It is the last year for this version of the CB450. Experts say the first year and last year of a model are the most collectible. This motorcycle has not been touched or detailed to sell. When I found it, I was amazed at the originality and good condition. It was sitting in a storage building when I purchased it two years ago. Nothing has been repainted. The chrome is all really nice including the rims. I had the carbs gone through by a professional. It starts great and idles and runs like it should. Drives out very nice through all the gears. There is no sign that it has been laid down as the original hand grips are perfect on the ends. All the lights work...including instrument lights and warning / indicator lights. The engine sounds nice and tight with no rattles and no oil leaks. The original exhaust has absolutely no rust or rot. Really unusual to find a CB450 with good original exhaust. The seat is original and perfect. The tool kit is included. As can be seen in the photo there is a small dent on the right side of the gas tank and the left fork rubber is broken. I though it was too nice and original to make any changes and I never planned on ever selling it. However, reality has changed that plan.. The front brake master cylinder has been replaced with new. Both tires are new with only 60 miles on them. The gauges work slow...they do not get up to the level where they should quickly as the needles move slow. I was told with riding they will probably move like they should as the lube/grease is old internally. I set the odometer to zero when I started riding it. Now shows 59.7 miles. I am not sure if that is enough miles to get the slow needles moving correctly. The brakes are in excellent working condition. The inside of the gas tank is rust free. This is a way above average original motorcycle. It is by no means perfect or like new. However, if you are looking for an original CB450 that runs and rides great that you can be proud of, then this is the one. It is titled, licensed and insured in my name. Feel free to contact me through Ebay if you would like to come inspect the bike during the auction. I am in Dubuque, Iowa. One of the American Pickers came to my place last week and bought two motorcycles from me. They looked at this bike and was amazed at how original and nice it was. They don't buy Hondas like this....but did tell me it was a nice example. Good luck to all. Someone is going to get a really great bike!

Taliban Magazine Condemns America but Praises Honda
Wed, 11 Dec 2013Manufacturers are usually glad to hear positive reviews of their products, but we’ve got a feeling Honda is not happy about the ringing endorsement it received from the latest issue of the Taliban-published magazine “Azan“. The English-language magazine is a pro-Jihadist quarterly; pure propaganda designed to recruit impressionable and disillusioned Muslims in the West. It’s somewhat jarring then to find buried within the radical rhetoric a full page spread on a 125cc Honda as one of the Taliban’s “Steeds of War”.
OEMs Plug into Electric Bikes
Sat, 01 Nov 2008KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.
2022 Honda Navi First Look
Tue, 16 Nov 2021What this country needs is a good $1,807 Honda We’ve all been there. You want a new motorcycle, but you’re scared a Grom might be a little too much for you to handle. A man’s got to know his limitations, as Clint Eastwood famously said (but he also meant woman, child, and all other people however they identify).
