This is a frame up Restoration, I bought this bike along with another Honda 500F. The frame and side covers have been repainted the tank is original paint just restored. The engine has 41 mikes on it since a valve job. Carbs have been rebuilt, tires are new rims have been trued and balanced, new battery, gauges have been repainted, new brakes rear, front master cylinder and caliper rebuilt. this bike has not been registered since 1980 but I have bill of sale from previous owner. Fuel tank has been cleaned and is in good shape. all lights, turn signals,beeper, stop and tail lights all working. New plugs. bike starts on first kick or push of the starter button. All cases have been cleaned and polished. All engine gaskets were replaced, no oil leaks at all. runs great and is quick. Mon, 21 May 2012K-Tech have released their popular 25SSK front fork open cartridge system to fit all Showa Big Piston Forks. Here's what K-Tech have to say about them: These lightweight aluminium units are supplied to the same exacting specification as all other 25SSK fitments with 14mm piston rods and a 25mm cartridge tube, the 14mm piston rods displace a large volume of oil through the 25mm control pistons giving enhanced damping characteristics over the standard Big Piston Fork and allow a bigger volume of air for a more precise feel at the bottom of the fork travel.
