Honda CB description
This is a frame up Restoration, I bought this bike along with another Honda 500F. The frame and side covers have been repainted the tank is original paint just restored. The engine has 41 mikes on it since a valve job. Carbs have been rebuilt, tires are new rims have been trued and balanced, new battery, gauges have been repainted, new brakes rear, front master cylinder and caliper rebuilt. this bike has not been registered since 1980 but I have bill of sale from previous owner. Fuel tank has been cleaned and is in good shape. all lights, turn signals,beeper, stop and tail lights all working. New plugs. bike starts on first kick or push of the starter button. All cases have been cleaned and polished. All engine gaskets were replaced, no oil leaks at all. runs great and is quick. Mon, 25 Jul 2011Now I know that Mike Hailwood raced a 6-cylinder Honda but that's no excuse for this CBX I spotted at the Bikers Days Spa Classic. The 1047cc, inline 6 cylinder, 24 Valve, DOHC Honda might be a feat of engineering brilliance but it looks like it would be a right handful on track. I've added a picture of an oil tanker to give you an idea of just how long the CBX's wheelbase really is.
