Up for bid is a very nice example of a 1973 Honda CB500F. We have tried to stick to modifications that enhance the appearance of the bike without radically altering it. No chassis modifications were made, simply cosmetic and performance upgrades. Here is a partial listing of the parts and modifications: - MAC 4 into 1 header - Powder coated frame, wheel rims, side stand and swing arm - Polished engine covers, wheel hubs, fork sliders and hand controls - Painted engine block and head - Super bike bend bars with Biltwell grips - Carburetors rebuilt, jetted to the exhaust and fitted with Uni pod filters - New spokes, nipples and Metzeler tires - NOS tank emblems and reproduction side cover emblems - Original front and rear fenders (front fender has been shortened) - New speedo and tachometer in custom bracket. (We have the original gauges if desired) - Custom seat based on original pan. This allows the factory hinge to remain operable. - New Candy Bacchus Olive paint on original tank and side covers. - New chain and sprockets The bike is in excellent running and riding condition. WSBK 2013: Nurburgring Race Report
Tue, 03 Sep 2013Tom Sykes has taken over the lead in the 2013 World Superbike Championship standings after splitting race victories with Chaz Davies at Germany’s Nurburgring circuit. Both races ended prematurely however with red flags during the final laps. Pata Honda‘s Jonathan Rea and FIXI Crescent Suzuki‘s Leon Camier both crashed on the 18th lap of Race One after running into oil spilled on the track from Pedercini Kawasaki racer Federico Sandi‘s ZX-10R.

Mon, 12 Aug 2013Since wild camping in the UK is generally regarded as trespassing, I opted for a crowded campsite in the heart of Sussex, open fires allowed, to see if the MOTOTENT is worth the £399 price tag. On the face of it the MOTOTENT is essentially a two man dome tent with a porch, Well I can pick up one of those up from Argos for £100 or less. Also I was struggling to understand why you would buy a tent that you can sleep in and store your bike in overnight, certainly in the UK most places you are likely to stay are fairly secure campsites.
