Honda CB description
Highest Offer wins the motorcycle!
Thanks for taking a look at my auction. This is a 1973 JADE GREEN Honda CB 750 - a very desirable cold. The motorcycle has 12827 actual miles. Based on the history I have, I am the 3rd owner. This motorcycle originated in New York and found its way to New Jersey. It has a clear title in my name. When I purchased the motorcycle, it was not running. I had the following done to it: - A complete Tune up - Carbs cleaned / balanced and reinstalled - Oil changed - Brakes adjusted - 2 brand new tires From the pictures one can see that the seat has a few tares in the seat cover, one can either recover it or put black tape over it. The motorcycle is original with the exception of the exhaust pipes - why this was changed I don't know. I do not have the originals, but if I did I would have put them on. This is a rare color and a desirable motorcycle. One can use it now or do a complete restoration. Buyers choice! It looks like all of the wiring is original and has not been cut or changed. There is some light pitting of the bright work and some minor scratches. The side covers appear to be in nice condition and appear to be original. This motorcycle is for sale "as is"; "where is"; with *NO* warranty expressed or implied. It is the buyers responsibility to pickup and shipping. I will be happy to help coordinate on my end. I suggest Uship if you are in the continental United States. I have had good success in the past with the service providers. I accept cash, or certified check or even personal check. However, to be absolutely clear; all monies must be in my account before bike, title or keys are released. If you are mailing a check, provide the tracking number please. Payment is due within 3 days of auctions end. Contact me immediately once the auction is over; within a day so that I know the deal is legit. Buyers with less than 10 positive feedbacks - make sure you contact me immediately, or i will decline your offer no matter how good it is! I am not a fan of Paypal in large transactions, so contact me first before bidding. If you are the winning bidder and have not contacted me about payment via Paypal prior - I will cancel the transaction and reslist the motorcycle. The same policy applies; all monies must clear my account, there is no returns, guarantees or warranties expressed or implied. Note: In addition, the buyer has to add 4% on to the payment of the selling winning bid if you go the Paypal route.. If not, the sale will be not be completed. Positive feedback must be left for me immediately as Paypal has some type of clawback and quite frankly folks, I am not having it. When the payment clears, the bike, title and key is transferred. Any Paypal transaction has to be completed in full within 72 hours after auction is over. No exceptions. Please contact me immediately once the auction is over. I had some buyer from "Malta" tell me he will send payment on a different auction which is presently underway......thank God I didn't hold my breath or I would not be able to sell this motorcycle! Please be serious about bidding folks, bid to win not to browse. If you are an international buyer - contact me first so we can sort the logistics. I have shipped to UK and France and can bring the motorcycle to Port Newark NJ for an additional fee. All shipping to your designated country is your responsbility. I have described this motorcycle to the best of my ability. Good Luck. I do have the right to end this listing early as I do have the motorcycle listed on other media. Contact me with any questions you have! Thank you! |

Classic corner: Phillip Island turn 12
Tue, 03 Jul 2012Ask any racer what corners they would choose for their perfect track and the long swooping left that makes up the final corner of Phillip Island would appear on quite a few designs. Here the Honda World Superbike riders Jonathan Rea and Hiroshi Aoyama, along with technician Chris Pike and Pirelli's Giorgio Barbier detail the classic corner from the Australian track.
John McGuinness rides the electric future
Sun, 16 Jun 2013Jump onboard with John McGuinness as he heads from the start line on his Shinden Ni / Mugen electric motorcycle in the TT Zero race. One wonders whether Honda would have announced that it is actually a Honda if McGuinness had taken the win. There's certainly plenty of Honda money behind the bike.
