Honda CB description
Up for bid is a 1972 honda CB750 four. It was a one owner bike. It has been sitting since 1988 in a garage under cover. It was stored with some gas in the tank, so the inside does show rust. But solid. Frame # CB750-2014991. Motor # is blank. Engine turns over with great compression. 28,322 miles. Electronics where tested and the starter, blinkers all came on and worked. The bike does not run, will need the usual tune up for a bike sitting that long. The front brake will need to be bleed. rear brake works as it should. Clutch feels good, shifts through the gears. Looks to be all original except for the handle bars and exhaust. I do have the original HM341 pipes in ok shape. No major holes, just some spots of bubbling. No baffles. See the pictures. As for the condition goes it is not a show bike, but would be a nice rider or mild restore. It was stored in a garage undercover, so the chrome looks great with little to no rust on the chrome. Side covers have no cracks. Paint looks great. There is an indent on the right side of the gas tank where the honda logo is, see picture. Seat is plush, a small hole on the back right corner. Scrape on the right honda cover. Most likely fell over at one point on the right side. Fenders have no dings or dents. Tires look to have lots of tred left, but are older tires. Toolkit, and clean title. Again will be a great project or mild restore. Please email if you have any questions. The bike must be payed for within 7 days of close of auction. Buyers responsible for shipping. Sold as is. Good luck bidding.
