Honda CB description
1972 HONDA CB500 FOUR EXCELLENT CONDITION, LOW MILES Here is a classic vintage mostly
original 1972 Honda CB500 Four with
about 3000 miles believed to be original. I found the bike locally and couldn’t
resist buying. I am more into Italian bikes, hence I offer this Honda to an enthusiast
who is looking for a very nice example. Factory candy garnet brown with black
& white stripes. Tank is like new with no rust inside. Original excellent
seat with no rips, only plastic chrome trim strip is flacking. Rims and spokes excellent,
no pitting. Mudguards have no dents, very minor pitting on front one. Original
4 into 4 exhaust with only minor blemish (see pictures), excellent tires. Original manual and tool kit. I only run the bike once around the
block and can only give a limited impression of the engine condition. The bike
starts immediately on the push of the button, battery is strong, engine idles
evenly and accelerates smoothly. Runs perfectly through all gears. No oil
leaks. Carbs and petcock do not leak. GA title signed by previous owner. No
warranties or guaranties, sale is final. I expect a non-refundable deposit of $300 by
PayPal within 48 hours of auction end and full payment within 7 days by wire
transfer or certified check. Shipping
is the responsibility of the buyer. Bike will only be released after full
payment is received. Bike must be picked up at my residence. I cannot crate,
ship or deliver. If you go to the Barber Vintage Festival in October, drive by
and pick her up. Thanks
for looking and bidding.

His skills on the blacktop are well known by now, but his speed in the dirt opened some eyes as he demonstrated during the Superprestigio, an invitational dirt track event revived by Marquez to have a little fun in the off season and showcase the skills of some of the top riders in the world. Marquez handily won the Superprestigio class for grand prix racers, while the Open class, comprised of non GP riders, was won by that class’ most notable entry: American Brad Baker, the reigning AMA Grand National Champion.
