Honda CB description

1971 Honda CB450 in very nice, all original condition. Everything on this bike works great.  Matching numbers bike. All the chrome is in good shape with very little surface rust in hard to clean areas. The handlebars and turn signals look good but do show signs of pitting. Please see pictures. All the electrical works as it should. The bike has just been serviced by a certified mechanic. New battery and carbs have also been cleaned and synched. The wheels and spokes are in great shape and rust free. The paint shines great, but does have minor imperfections from use. All the electrical switches are intact and are not faded very badly. Original Honda mirrors. Original Honda seat with no rips or holes. The side covers are very nice as well with both emblems intact. The gas tank has one tiny ding that is hardly noticeable. The side covers are free of dents or dings. The tank and covers all have good shiny paint. The tires seem to be in great shape. The engine is very clean and free of leaks. The gauges are nice and not faded like most are. The bike has always been stored indoors and well maintained. This is a 2 owner bike and it shows. Fork boots are nice and soft with no tears. The gas tank has been lined and is in good shape inside. Never wrecked or abused. Original HM319 exhaust is in great shape and rust free. One pipe has a little acid staining, but is not bad. This bike starts easily and runs and drives smoothly. Dependable bike. Ready to ride. Turn key bike.

16-year-old Sophie Walls is not your common teenager, along with achieving 14 GCSEs yesterday she balances her studies with being one of the youngest female racers in the country. Sophie rides a Honda RS125 in the Classic Motorcycle Racing Club and was fortunate that the Sir Graham Balfour School she attends in Stafford gives her sporting leave so she can travel to race meetings. She told thisisstaffordshire.co.uk: "My school gave me sporting leave, normally on a Friday, so I could travel to the race meetings.

More European Consumers Choosing Honda’s Dual Clutch Transmission

Mon, 15 Apr 2013

Honda‘s work developing its second-generation dual clutch transmission appears to be paying off, at least in Europe. According to Honda, customers have purchased more than 12,500 units with DCT since the technology was first made available on a production motorcycle with the VFR1200F in 2010. The Japanese manufacturer now offers four models in Europe with optional DCT: the VFR1200F, the NC700X, the NC700S, and the Crosstourer.
