Hello up for auction tonight we have an extremely rare Numbers matching Candy Orange 1971 Customized CB750. This is a rare bike with only 16205 miles it. The FRENCHED tank and paint were customized back in the 70's.

This bike was layed down in 1976. That is when it was repainted and customized. I Have the original receipt of what was fixed on the bike. The parts that were fixed and all the broke parts are going with the bike as well as all the original and NOS parts you see on the trailer. The original seat, a replacement tank, bearings, levers, shield, ect. ect. ect. There is enough here to put it back original. The Chrome on the bike is in real good shape only very light pitting on a couple pieces. Hardly noticeable. These parts have been in the boxes for years. The aftermarket pipes have a hole in them shown in the picture. There is no original pipes...

AMA Supercross: 2012 Arlington Results

Defending champion Ryan Villopoto won his third consecutive AMA Supercross race in Arlington, Texas, but the victory was overshadowed by a season-ending injury suffered by one of his main challengers Chad Reed. TwoTwo Motorsport Honda‘s Reed trailed Villopoto in second place for the first six laps at Cowboys Stadium. Disaster struck on Lap 7 however as Reed crashed hard in the whoops.

Capirossi Announces Retirement at Conclusion of 2011 Season

Loris Capirossi announced he will retire at the end of the 2011 MotoGP season, closing off a quarter century of racing including 22 years at the Grand Prix level and three World Championships. “It’s an important moment in my career, and the decision I made has come about after a lot of reflection,” says Capriossi. “I’m happy that after 25 years, of which 22 were in the world championship, I’m at a point where I can still have a smile on my lips as I part ways, even if it’s difficult to think that I won’t be riding a bike next year.” The announcement was made during a press conference at Misano for the upcoming San Marino Grand Prix, the final Italian stop of the 2011 season.

Stoner Pulls Back, Skips Day 1 of Honda MotoGP Testing at Sepang

Reigning MotoGP Champion Casey Stoner pulled his back during his morning stretches leaving teammate Dani Pedrosa to fly the Repsol Honda colors on the first day of the MotoGP pre-season test at Mayalsia’s Sepang circuit. As Stoner received treatment for his back, Pedrosa put in 48 laps to lead all riders. Riding the Honda RC213V, Pedrosa’s best lap time was 2:02.003, making him second fastest on the day behind only Yamaha‘s Jorge Lorenzo and his 2:01.657 time.
