Honda CB description

Offered for sale is this time capsule of a late 1970s Bay Area Chopper, and a former magazine cover bike from 1981. The bike features a Gary Little John prism tank, an Arlen Ness hardneck front frame section, and a very rare Crazy Frank rear Fender. Crazy Frank fenders alone have been known to sell for $1,000. These old Japanese period choppers have a real following, and are popular with many new collectors. This old show bike that is ready to be restored to its former glory.

The bike has been sitting since the later 1980s, and the skim coat of plastic that's on it is braking down, so the bike will need to be blasted back to bare metal and done over.  But it's a great start for a Winter restoration. The bike comes with a clear matching number Virginia title, ready for the new owner to transfer into their name. The engine turns over, but the bike is not currently running. It's missing the exhaust, seat and brake calipers.

Please ask all questions prior to bidding. Payment expected within one week of auction end. Bike must be picked up within one month of auction end. Overseas sales are fine, but I can not help with shipping quotes. Cash or Check accepted. Paypal accepted only if paid via Friends & Family option, which has no fees on either end if coming from a bank account or Paypal balance.

Good luck!

But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.
