Offered for sale is this time capsule of a late
1970s Bay Area Chopper, and a former magazine cover bike from 1981. The bike
features a Gary Little John prism tank, an Arlen Ness hardneck front frame section, and
a very rare Crazy Frank rear Fender. Crazy Frank fenders alone have been known
to sell for $1,000. These old Japanese period choppers have a real following,
and are popular with many new collectors. This old show bike that is ready to
be restored to its former glory. The bike has been sitting since the later 1980s, and the skim coat of plastic that's on it is braking down, so the bike will need to be blasted back to bare metal and done over. But it's a great start for a Winter restoration. The bike comes with a clear matching number Virginia title, ready for the new owner to transfer into their name. The engine turns over, but the bike is not currently running. It's missing the exhaust, seat and brake calipers. Please ask all questions prior to bidding. Payment expected within one week of auction end. Bike must be picked up within one month of auction end. Overseas sales are fine, but I can not help with shipping quotes. Cash or Check accepted. Stoner Blows Away Competition on Final Day of MotoGP Sepang Test
Thu, 02 Feb 2012To be the man, you have to beat the man, and after the final day of MotoGP’s pre-season test in Malaysia, Repsol Honda‘s Casey Stoner continues to be the man. The reigning MotoGP World Champion didn’t let lingering soreness from the back problems that sidelined him for the first day of testing at Sepang slow him down. On just his second of 21 laps on the final day, Stoner set a blistering lap time of 1:59.607, besting second-fastest rider Jorge Lorenzo by 0.591 seconds.While there’s still some room for improvement to be found his Honda RC213V, Stoner will turn things over to the engineers and fly back home to Switzerland to his wife Adriana for the birth of their first child.

Mon, 25 Oct 2010A HONDA NR750 - one of the most hi-tech production motorcycles ever built - is up for grabs on eBay with an asking price of £115,000.The bike was produced in the early 1990s by Honda to showcase the company's engineering skills; a 32-valve, oval piston V4 engine, Carbon Fibre Composite bodywork and titanium-tinted screen are just some of the revolutionary features that warranted the bike's £37,000 original price tag.This particular 1993 model has covered 5000 miles from new - quite a few for a bike with such a heady price tag. We'd have expected it to come with delivery mileage only. It's being sold by an Essex-based dealer who describes the bike as 'IMMACULATE'.
