Honda CB description

NY registration paper work in hand. No titles in NY before 1972. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE AD! Thank you. 1971 original CB 175. You will have a very hard time finding one this nice. It has a ding in the tank shown in the pictures. Tank is clean but I would seal it. It has a scratch here and there but again its in great original condition. It needs a minor cleaning and buffing from sitting in the garage. Always stored inside. I bought this from the original owner to make a Cafe' Racer but just don't have the time right now. I started it and she is quiet. No smoke. No leaks. BUT will need a new battery, minor carb clean etc from sitting. Perfect for someone who wants a beautiful original or a Cafe base to start from. I AM NOT GIVING IT AWAY SO FORGET THE STUPID LOWBALL OFFERS. I am not getting her going. If I had the time for that i'd cafe' it and ride it myself or sell it for double the price atleast. This will be a super easy project for anyone. Take a good look at the pictures and email me if you have a question. AGAIN TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT THE PICTURES. You can zoom in etc to get a good look.  THIS BIKE IS A 1971 NOT A 2013. ITS NICE BUT NOT NEW. NO PAYPAL. Must be paid for in 7 days. Storage is no problem as long as its paid for first. YOU CAN COME SEE IT ANYTIME. Buyer pays and arranges all shipping. You must contact me within 48 hours after buying or it will be relisted. You won't be disappointed. ALL BUYERS WITH UNDER 5 FEEDBACKS MUST CONTACT ME WITH A PHONE # TO CALL OR YOUR BID WILL BE CANCELLED. Thanks

2012 Honda Fireblade and NC700X launch

Mon, 21 Nov 2011

I'm chucking a few essential items into my massive stuffa bag, ready to go to Portimao tomorrow for the International launch of not just the Honda NC700X but also the new Fireblade, too. You couldn't fathom two bikes at further ends of the scale. One all about performance and speed, the other about user-friendliness and thrift.

Postie Bike Challenge [video]

Fri, 19 Jun 2009

The Postie Bike Challenge started in 2002 as a one-off event in Brisbane, Australia to prove that small bikes can travel long distances over both asphalt, dirt, sand, or stony surfaces has turned into a 10-day charity event.  The entry fee is $4,000 but almost everything is taken care of, including: Late model Honda CT110 Postie bike (registered to you!) All breakfasts, lunches and dinners All fuel for the trip One way air ticket back to Brisbane Support truck to carry equipment, clothing bag and mechanics Final celebration dinner and hotel accommodation That’s right, you can keep the Honda CT110 Postie bike (designed for commercial and agricultural, also used by Australia Post) but the concept is to give the bike to charity in your name after the event is over, its up to you but more than 90% of the participants do give the bike back. Hit the jump to see the video and for more info on this years trek. The 2009 Postie Bike Challenge will take place from October 3rd to the 13th and will go from Brisbane to Melbourne, the destination changes every year.  The route taken will be about 2,000 miles (the direct route is about 1,000 miles).  If your interested, get your entry form and deposit in ASAP, last years event was sold out.
