UP FOR AUCTION - VINTAGE RED STOCK ALL ORIGINAL 1969 HONDA CB350 - ANTIQUE - "AS IS" - Starting Bid: $2500.00 CASH ONLY SALE
These 1969 K0 / K1 CB350 chick bike models are very hard to find and even if you do it's rare they are in this good of shape. I've owned a couple of these bikes. Very easy to work on, they RUN forever and simply it's a Honda beautifully crafted road bike. YOU TUBE: https://youtu.be/Gyl5fdnU8MU I have and decided to let go due to the overwhelming amount short supply of storage space and my need to work on other projects...it's being sold "as is" of course. Ok about this 1969 Honda cream puff motorcyle. The paint is original, and have been told "leave everything AS IT is now" from 1969. Still in great to excellent shape for it's age. Perfect to ride around 'as is' and definitely have a head turner!! Perfect bike for beginner or expert level vintage bike enthusiast or a personal collection. The tank is lightly sun faded on the top, very few MINOR imperfections one ding on the left side. Inside is crystal clear rust free (very rare). Has the vinyl knee pad side tank and finding one this nice is near impossible. Let's start with the flaws. This is an antique and can be restored to primo condition or left stock AS IS for the serious collector. It's in excellent running condition there are some thing to note...(see the YOU TUBE VIDEO for a complete view). A. The seat has two small vinyl cracks in the top cover - about 1" in length. B. Left Muffler has a battery acid over flow etching in the chrome. C. The front headlight holder has been bent due to a fall over in the past. Both mounts have a compression dent at the headlight - very common on these bikes. D. The Gas Tank top paint
is sun faded approx 15% - the bike paint shop guys tell me to "leave
it ALONE" keep it as stock! A couple of very small rust scabs on finish near the fill area. Minor scratches near that ding. E. The side cover grommets need new ones if you can find them. These are ok and still work. F. All the chrome - has some patina like at most 2% at most. It's very very light. G. A couple of small dings in the gas tank, very very light dings. H. The back vertical seat
rest pad - is Ripped; torn perhaps from a past spill or accidental "pull". I. Twin Cyl Upper/lower
gaskets - have leaked a "shade" of oil, normal wearage for
this bike. IT DOES NOT LEAK OIL. It's is a maintenance item to
mention. See video on YOUTUBE. Nothing major. J. The RPM Gauge "RED" redline is now "sun faded orange" - a new rpm gauge might be on the want list or leave it "as is" ? The AWESOME BENEFITS of this beautiful stock, 1969 Honda CB350 from up north in Michigan - found in a barn in Posen, MI 49776 believe it or not. I've been told I'm the third owner. 1. Mileage 10,800 / Clear Title in my name. 2. Motor Oil Clean and always changed. Motor runs sweet. 3. Tank inside: Crystal Clear of any rust like new inside the tank. 4. Tool Kit: Complete stock tool kit - all tools inside ever the "gappers" for the points. 5. My fix ups: New clutch lever, new petcock valve, new old stock mufflers (not ratted out; new whisper quiet), new battery, new gas lines, NU METAL - all chrome and always chrome polished - everything, rims...etc. 6. Has that cool 1969 stock Honda Rack on the back / chrome needs attention a little more patina heavy under the chrome rack bars - normal. All chrome and rack has always been polished and maintained from when I purchased it. 7. All lights, H-L, signals, L-R, Horn work and HONKS!! Brake Both Lights Work. It's street legal and ready to take to your Wednesday night city fun bike night. This thing took 1st in Chelsea Michigan's bike show for it's class 4 years ago or so. 8. The rims, are
spectacular! Both front and back. Sure there is some very very light
patina but they are very very nice. Spokes need cleaning. 9. The tires are original - from Japan Bridgstones - there is some very very light wear but the tires are great. Very light dry rot is visible; they are street road ride worthy - just don't go out and light em up!!! : ) These things are the stock and original. Both hold air perfectly. 10. Chrome Fenders - great and always taken care of. Very small ding in the rear fender. 11. Front fender is NOT bobbed or cut. Results From Day 2 Of World Superbike Testing At Phillip Island
Tue, 18 Feb 2014World Superbike testing at Phillip Island came to a close today, and when the dust settled, reigning champion Tom Sykes stamped his authority, setting the fastest time of the test at 1:30.239, just five thousandths shy of the outright lap record held by Carlos Checa. The time was set during the morning session of testing, though nobody was able to best Sykes for the remainder of the day.
