Honda CB description

This is a very nice Honda CB450K1. The title says it is a 1968 but I think it is closer to a 1969 because of the cool front fender reflector that was mostly only on the 1969 models.

I have had a few of these early CB450's and this is a great example of one. I just sold one about identical to this a few months ago, you may have seen it.
It runs very strong and is a pleasure to ride.

The previous owner had the engine rebuilt at a shop and I have the detailed receipt of the parts that went into it. It as been bored .50 over with new pistons, complete valve job, and carbs rebuilt being the main things done. The receipt was over $1700.00.

I will let the pictures speak for themselves as of the condition of this bike.
The tank and side covers are original paint and there is some fading on the tank and some scratches.
The tank has been treated on the inside as well and is very clean.
The seat cover was replaced and tastefully done with original pan and stainless trim.

The tires are very good and the chrome and spokes arereal nice too.
The mufflers are correct for the 1968/1969 CB450's and are solid with only one minor ding on the right side. You can see it in the pictures. The chrome is rust free with only a bit of the acid staining on the inside of the mufflers. The header pipes are really nice.

New fork seals installed and new battery and new chain.

It is currently registered in my name and the title is in my name as well.

This would be a nice addition to any ones collection and a perfect bike to one day restore if that's what you want to do. I think I would enjoy it like it is though.

I am a collector and have way too many bikes. I have enclosed some additional photos of other bikes I own that are going to be up for sale.
