Honda CB description
The bike is original with the exception of the handle bars, the front fender and the exhaust pipes.
I have the original handle bars. I also have the original tool pouch with the original tools, and the Owner's Manual. The lights, both front and rear, the electric starter, tachometer, speedometer and odometer are all in working order. It has a new battery, a rebuilt clutch and carburetor. The bike runs great, starts right up and only has 5,652 original miles. The buyer is responsible for pick up of bike and any and all shipping charges and arrangements. On tomorrow’s third and final day of the World Superbike championship test currently taking place at Jerez in Spain, regular riders Leon Haslam and Jonathan Rea will hand over their Honda CBR1000RR SP racing machines to their respective young sons. Despite being less than a year old, Max Haslam and Jake Rea are deemed to have inherited sufficient quantities of the so-called ‘speed gene’ to warrant a full test on the sophisticated production race bikes.

Honda to Compete in 2013 Dakar Rally
Tue, 03 Jul 2012Honda announced it will enter a works team in the 2013 Dakar Rally‘s motorcycle class, returning to the event for the first time in 23 years. The Japanese manufacturer competed in the Rally from 1981 to 1989 when it was known as the Paris-Dakar Rally. Honda won five times during that period but then stopped entering its own team.
