Honda CA description
1966 Honda CA160 Benly "Baby Dream" (VIN# CA 1601005835) Bought @ auction in 2009 to restore, but far too busy with work, home, cars...life! NO battery, No original pipes, No seat , the seat in pics is simply resting on bike, welcome to keep it! I have stored it inside my garage 100% of the time since buying & except for occasional washing it is as I purchased it that day @ the auction All else appears to be there Mechanically, which is why I bought it. Most are junk or restored. The restored ones are typically asking in the $2,5-4,000 range. COSMETICS; the original paint, but many dents, scratches, etc...this could be a great bike to restore I feel it's a great base Honda to Restore as it has the title & most everything there to build upon. Please serious buyers only, just shoot me an offer. Located in Yellow Springs, Ohio Thanks, Jerry Thanks for your interest. In fairness to all Bidders, the Reserve will be held in confidence until after the end of the auction. Buyer can inspect vehicle at my premises with notice as we both work heavy hours. I, the Seller, reserves the right to cancel your bid if you have any negative feedback. Please call, text or email with all of your questions prior to bidding at 937-902-1456. **I reserve the right to notify bidders and cancel this auction early** It is For Sale Locally as well, I shall not be held liable for any such cancellation. Terms of Sale 1. Please be sure to have all monies (loans or financing approved or in place) before making your final bid. I will accept Certified & Cashier's Checks and Bank transfers in US Dollars only. The balance is due within 7 days of auction closure. If the deposit is not received within 48 hours of the close of auction or if the balance is not paid in full within 7 days following the close of auction, I reserve the right to re-list the motorcycle or to sell it to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer. This does not allow you to cancel your contract, and you are still liable for damages if you breach. The Honda is pre-owned, and it is very difficult to describe every small mark on them. As a consequence there may be minor wear on the vehicle that is typical of the age, such as minor superficial hairline scratches, small nicks and minor abrasions that are not indicated in this description. To the best of my knowledge I have indicated any mechanical problems that are present in the description above. However, I am selling the Honda "as is", without warranty other than any existing factory warranty that may still remain. Buyer pays all shipping charges. I reserve the right to cancel bids from those with excessive negative feedback. The final contract signed between both buyer and seller shall be binding. Remember your obligation as a bidder and eBay Community Member. Don't Bid unless you have the ability and you intend to purchase the vehicle. Bidders must have cash or available financing before bidding. |

OEMs Plug into Electric Bikes
Sat, 01 Nov 2008KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.
You want a nice little car, you do.
Wed, 08 Sep 2010We ran a couple of stories last week - both, coincidentally, about new Kawasakis. One was the first peek of the new ZX10R – hot stuff you’d imagine – the other, the new W800 retro parallel twin. I suppose it shouldn’t have shocked us, which story was most popular in terms of hits but it really does mark a seismic shifts in British biking attitudes that the W800 story doubled the hits of the ZX10 piece.
