    This is a great motorcycle, bullet proof XR motor runs great.  5 speed, clutch and gears work fine, no slipping or gearbox noises.  I bought this bike about 5 years ago for my older son, he used it a few times before moving up to a XR150.  My younger son has no interest in the 100 so it has to go.  The bike has not been abused, just 20 years old but still runs great.  I have been starting it every 2 or 3 months and it starts on the 2nd or 3rd kick, no problems with the idle.  The tires are the same as when I bought it, they are old and should be changed.  The breaks work pretty well but should be cleaned and adjusted.  May need new back break pads or it could just be my 220 pounds, which this 100 moves around quite well.   I don't have pictures but I will include a pair of riding pants and jersey. This is for local pick up only. PLEASE NOTE: I DO NOT HAVE A TITLE, FOR SOME REASON, "OTHER" WAS NOT AN OPTION FOR THE TITLE PORTION OF THE LISTING.  I WILL PROVIDE A BILL OF SALE.

    1990 HONDA XR200R.....great bike to restore or you can ride it as it is.....Clear Tennessee title in my name....I entered 100 in the mileage category because it required me to type something in--of course I have no idea what the mileage is (no odometer)..... the first owner traded it in @ the Honda dealer for a bigger bike in 1991 & he hadn't ridden it very much---a friend of mine bought it from the dealer & only rode it a few times before he parked it on his covered patio & left it sitting there for 16-17 years....I got it from him in 2009, fixed it back up & have ridden it probably 2-3 hours total... Bike runs, rides, stops, handles, etc.

    I bought this rebuilt XR350 3 years ago with every intent to ride it, then never did!   This is an excellent example of Honda's RFVC multi-valve technology. 1985 was the year Honda went to a single carb for this model, and it pulls like a train, with lots of low end torque. The XR is really quiet too. It is street legal in some states because it has lights, but it does not have a brake light or directional lights.  Aftermarket parts are available to make this street legal in most states.

    Super awesome street legal XR350R.  Has a big head and a big bore.  Work done by XR's Only.  Big stainless head pipe with custom muffler.  Fork risers, vintage tail light.  This bike is so fast you think it is a two stroke.  It also comes with a custom super moto / motard sumo setup.  Warp 9 rims all professionally laced by Buchanan's Rim & Spoke with Bridgestone Battle Ax tires with like new tread.  Big awesome brake rotor...I believe it is EBC.  Comes with custom caliper mount.  This think can do stoppies all day with the amount of brake pressure Takes about 20 minutes to transfer from street to dirt.  All suspension professionally setup by ex-AMA superbike tuner Steve Biganski.  A whole new bottom end has been installed recently by Steve as well.  This bike needs nothing.  It is garage kept, very well taken care of.  Turn key.  YOU DO NOT NEED TO DO ANYTHING!!!  Recent oil change & brake pads.  I have all receipts for all services since I purchased the bike.  The wheels alone cost $2000.  Also included is a VAPOR digital speedo / tach / heat sensor & custom brake & clutch levers.  Bike is listed locally and I reserve the right to end the listing at my discretion.  Local pickup.  I will be willing to drop off the bike in a 30 mile radius of Los Angeles.  If you arrange for shipment I will assist the carrier in loading the bike for transport.

    Up for auction is a 1983 XR350 flattracker. These are the dual header four valve motors that honda only made from 83-85, has a new Weisco High Compression piston. They originally were dual carbed but this one has a really nice manifold that allows for one monster carb to be used.

2014 AMA Superbike – Barber Results

Josh Hayes captured his third and fourth wins of the 2014 AMA Superbike season to take the double at Barber Motorsports Park. The two wins moved Hayes to the top of the championship standings from third as the three-time champion put himself in good position to win a fourth. Race One The Monster Energy Graves Yamaha rider had a relatively easy Race One as several top rivals crashed on the hot Alabama track.

Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes won both races at Misano to stretch his championship lead to 39 points as we pass the halfway mark of the 2014 World Superbike Championship. The reigning champion scored his third double-win round of the season while his teammate Loris Baz added a pair of second-place finishes. David Salom on the Kawasaki’s factory EVO entry was also the top rider in the new sub-class for both races to top off a strong weekend for the Team Green.

2015 Honda CB300F Gets CARB Approval

The Honda CBR300R will be joined by a naked model, if new certification documents from the California Air Resources Board are any indication. Back in March, we broke the story of a design patent for a new small-displacement naked Honda based on its CBR300R/CBR250R platform. CARB has certified a new model called the 2015 Honda CB300F along with the CBR300R and its ABS-equipped variant.

45,367 Motorcycle Thefts Reported in US in 2013

Americans reported 45,367 stolen motorcycles in 2013, down 1.5% from 2012, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau‘s latest Motorcycle Theft and Recovery Report. According to the NICB motorcycle thefts have been on the decline every year since 2007 when 65,678 motorcycles were reported stolen, though the overall trend appears to be leveling off. Japanese motorcycles continue to be the most popular target for thieves.

The first ever World Superbike round in Malaysia offered a plenty of drama including both factory Kawasaki riders crashing out on the first lap, a red flagged second race and an overall impressive outing by Aprilia. Under pressure for his lack of results so far this season, Marco Melandri impressed, earning the double for his first career wins on the RSV4 Factory. Aprilia riders led every lap in both races at Sepang, including the red-flagged initial start for Race 2, with Sylvain Guintoli joining his teammate on the podium with a pair of second-place finishes.

The New Fastest Electric Motorcycle Lap, With John McGuinness + Video

Earlier this week, John McGuinness won the single-lap TT Zero electric motorcycle race at the Isle of Man TT aboard his Mugen Shinden San. In the process, the 21-time TT winner smashed the old lap record of 109.675 mph, setting an average speed of 117.366 mph from a standing start. To put that in perspective, McGuinness’ teammate, Bruce Anstey, aboard a sister Mugen, set the outright lap record earlier this week aboard his Honda CBR1000RR superbike of over 132 mph.

Michael Dunlop won his fourth race of the 2014 Isle of Man TT and 11th in his career, capping off this year’s event by taking the PokerStars Senior TT. It is the second-consecutive year that Dunlop has won four races in a single TT, this time capturing the Senior, Superbike, Superstock, and the second Supersport TT races. It took a while for Dunlop to get going.

Dave Molyneux won his 17th career TT as he and passenger Patrick Farrance took the second Sidecar race of the 2014 Isle of Man TT. Molyneux is the career leader in Sidecar TT wins and third overall in total Isle of Man TT victories behind Joey Dunlop and John McGuinness. Molyneux and Farrance won the race by a good 44-second margin but they benefited greatly from a mechanical problem plaguing early race leaders John Holden and Andrew Winkle.

Isle of Man TT 2014: Monster Supersport TT 2 Results

Michael Dunlop led from start to finish to win the second Supersport TT race, giving him 10 TT victories in his career, tying him with the likes of Giacomo Agostini. Dunlop also joins sidecar racer Robert Fisher, Ian Lougher and Stanley Woods with 10 wins apiece, all tied for seventh overall on the all-time wins list. Riding his MD Racing Honda CBR600RR, Dunlop got off to a strong start, recording a time of 17:55.817 on the opening lap, giving him a 4.6-second advantage over fellow Honda rider Bruce Anstey.
